The awards recognize careers, establishments, products and proposals that reflect the <strong data-start=\"880\" data-end=\"940\">richness, diversity and quality of Ibizan gastronomy<\/strong>. <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"943\" data-end=\"1303\">Among the awards is the <strong data-start=\"1000\" data-end=\"1041\">posthumous tribute to Juan Riera &#8220;Aliso&#8221;,<\/strong> owner of <strong data-start=\"1058\" data-end=\"1070\">Can Rich<\/strong>, for a lifetime dedicated to <strong data-start=\"1102\" data-end=\"1139\">local produce and gastronomy<\/strong>, as well as a wide list of awards ranging from traditional cuisine to new openings, historical producers and referents of the insular recipe book.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"1310\" data-end=\"1374\"><strong data-start=\"1313\" data-end=\"1374\">Recognition for a lifetime of dedication to local produce<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1376\" data-end=\"1607\">The main recognition of this edition is the <strong data-start=\"1426\" data-end=\"1498\">award for a lifetime dedicated to local produce and gastronomy<\/strong>, given posthumously to <strong data-start=\"1530\" data-end=\"1552\">Juan Riera &#8220;Aliso&#8221;,<\/strong> owner of <strong data-start=\"1569\" data-end=\"1581\">Can Rich<\/strong>, who recently passed away.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1609\" data-end=\"1828\">The Academy emphasizes that Juan Riera <strong data-start=\"1653\" data-end=\"1728\">will always be part of the wine and olive oil history of the island<\/strong>, for his contribution to the development and valorization of these fundamental products of the territory.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"1835\" data-end=\"1890\"><strong data-start=\"1838\" data-end=\"1890\">The dish of the Ibicencan cuisine: fried squid<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1892\" data-end=\"2144\">The <strong data-start=\"1895\" data-end=\"1936\">Award for the dish of Ibizan cuisine<\/strong> has fallen this year in the <strong data-start=\"1963\" data-end=\"1983\">fried squid<\/strong>. With this distinction, the Academy wants to value, for the <strong data-start=\"2045\" data-end=\"2071\">third consecutive year<\/strong>, both the <strong data-start=\"2082\" data-end=\"2100\">local product<\/strong> and the <strong data-start=\"2109\" data-end=\"2143\">traditional Ibizan recipes<\/strong>. <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2146\" data-end=\"2513\">It is a dish that combines one of the star products of the <strong data-start=\"2213\" data-end=\"2233\">Mediterranean Sea<\/strong>, squid, with <strong data-start=\"2255\" data-end=\"2290\">potatoes produced in the islands<\/strong>, prepared with <strong data-start=\"2313\" data-end=\"2355\">extra virgin olive oil from Ibiza<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"2358\" data-end=\"2403\">green peppers harvested in the gardens<\/strong>. A recipe that is part of the <strong data-start=\"2438\" data-end=\"2512\">daily history of the inhabitants of Ibiza over the centuries<\/strong>. <\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"2520\" data-end=\"2562\"><strong data-start=\"2523\" data-end=\"2562\">Tradition and product award<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"2564\" data-end=\"2823\">In the category of <strong data-start=\"2583\" data-end=\"2607\">tradition and product<\/strong>, the award went to the <strong data-start=\"2637\" data-end=\"2668\">restaurant Cam\u00ed de Bal\u00e0fia<\/strong>, for <strong data-start=\"2681\" data-end=\"2753\">decades offering one of the best charcoal grills on the island<\/strong>, maintaining a firm commitment to the product and the cuisine of roots.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"2830\" data-end=\"2876\"><strong data-start=\"2833\" data-end=\"2876\">Local produce and historical producers<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"2878\" data-end=\"3113\">The award for <strong data-start=\"2890\" data-end=\"2908\">local product<\/strong> has been granted to the <strong data-start=\"2932\" data-end=\"2955\">Mar\u00ed Mayans family<\/strong>, in recognition of their <strong data-start=\"2980\" data-end=\"3031\">production of traditional liqueurs since 1880<\/strong>, a trajectory that is part of the gastronomic and cultural heritage of Ibiza.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"3120\" data-end=\"3163\"><strong data-start=\"3123\" data-end=\"3163\">Emblematic restaurants on the island<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"3165\" data-end=\"3410\">The Academy also wanted to recognize the <strong data-start=\"3209\" data-end=\"3236\">restaurant Ca n&#8217;Anneta<\/strong>, noting that it is part of the <strong data-start=\"3271\" data-end=\"3299\">living history of the island<\/strong> and has become <strong data-start=\"3326\" data-end=\"3374\">one of the most emblematic establishments<\/strong> of the Ibizan gastronomic scene.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3412\" data-end=\"3658\">For its part, the <strong data-start=\"3429\" data-end=\"3466\">traditional restaurant award<\/strong> was given to <strong data-start=\"3487\" data-end=\"3509\">Celler de Can Pere<\/strong>, which has been <strong data-start=\"3521\" data-end=\"3582\">offering traditional Ibizan recipes for sixty years<\/strong>, consolidating itself as one of the great references of traditional cuisine.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"3665\" data-end=\"3702\"><strong data-start=\"3668\" data-end=\"3702\">Best beach bar and best chef<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"3704\" data-end=\"3856\">The award for <strong data-start=\"3718\" data-end=\"3739\">best beach bar<\/strong> went to <strong data-start=\"3754\" data-end=\"3767\">Es Xuclar<\/strong>, located in the <strong data-start=\"3791\" data-end=\"3804\">Portinatx<\/strong> area, for its <strong data-start=\"3813\" data-end=\"3855\">offer of fresh and quality products<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3858\" data-end=\"3998\">In the category of <strong data-start=\"3877\" data-end=\"3891\">Best Chef<\/strong>, the award went to <strong data-start=\"3916\" data-end=\"3933\">Olivier P\u00e9rez<\/strong>, for his work at the <strong data-start=\"3983\" data-end=\"3997\">Es Mariner<\/strong> restaurant.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"4005\" data-end=\"4047\"><strong data-start=\"4008\" data-end=\"4047\">Best gastronomic opening of 2025<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"4049\" data-end=\"4213\">The <strong data-start=\"4052\" data-end=\"4078\">Best Opening of 2025<\/strong> has been recognized in <strong data-start=\"4101\" data-end=\"4109\">Noho<\/strong>, located on the <strong data-start=\"4125\" data-end=\"4149\">beach of Ses Salines<\/strong>, which joins the list of winners of this sixth edition.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"4220\" data-end=\"4290\"><strong data-start=\"4223\" data-end=\"4290\">Ibiza&#8217;s gastronomic diversity, reflected in the award winners<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"4292\" data-end=\"4670\">The president of the Academy of Gastronomy of Ibiza and Formentera, <strong data-start=\"4359\" data-end=\"4376\">Pedro Matutes<\/strong>, has highlighted the moment that the island is living in this area: <strong data-start=\"4437\" data-end=\"4656\">&#8220;Ibiza is consolidating as a gastronomic destination in our country.
