According to calculations made by the vendors’ collective, the market has had to remain closed between 15 and 17 days due to bad weather<\/strong>, which has significantly affected the development of its commercial activity.<\/p>\n

The initiative to extend the deadline not only responds to an economic need, but also to a desire for social revitalization, as highlighted in dialogue with IB3<\/em>. The traders emphasize that, at a time when many shops on the island are closed<\/strong>, the Christmas market becomes an essential refuge for public life. <\/p>\n

Vendors recognize the importance of “making a little community”<\/strong> and bring “atmosphere and joy”<\/strong> to Formentera in these dates where the leisure offer is more limited.<\/p>\n
