This Saturday will be held in Santa Eul\u00e0ria des Riu the Tanit Ibiza Congress & Awards 2024<\/a><\/strong>, an event dedicated to highlight female leadership and social impact in Ibiza, promoted by Eva Ballar\u00edn and Alicia Reina<\/strong> and sponsored by the Consell de Ibiza<\/strong> and the Ajuntament de Santa Eul\u00e0ria des Riu<\/strong>. The president of the Balearic Government, Marga Prohens<\/strong>, will participate in a round table and will receive the Tanit Spirit<\/strong> award in recognition of her commitment to the economic development of the Balearic Islands. The event will begin at 5:00 pm at the Cultural Center of Jesus<\/strong>, with the inauguration by the Councilor for Children, Equality and Elderly of Ibiza, Sara Barbado<\/strong>, and the promoters of the congress, Ballar\u00edn and Reina. Later, Prohens will participate in the talk “Talking with our president”<\/strong>, moderated by Ballar\u00edn and Reina, where she will address issues of relevance to the Balearic community. Stella Gonz\u00e1lez Tuells<\/b> will receive the <\/span>Tanit Gastr\u00f3noma 2024<\/b> “for her commitment to sustainable agriculture and her work at the Can Rich winery<\/strong>, where she has transformed the richness of the land of Ibiza into wines that capture its essence,” explained the organizers during the presentation ceremony.<\/span> The ex-politician, activist and head of the Ibiza Town Hall Archive, Fanny Tur Riera,<\/b> will be awarded the <\/span>Tanit Educator 2024<\/b> for her “dedication to preserving the historical memory of Ibiza and Formentera, ensuring that future generations understand and value the rich cultural heritage of these islands”.<\/span> Sara Mar\u00ed Washbourne,<\/b> who “has demonstrated how business leadership can go hand in hand with the preservation of Ibiza’s values and traditions,” will be awarded the <\/span>Tanit Hotelera 2024<\/b> for her outstanding management of the Alonso Mar\u00ed Group of Companies<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

One of Abel Matutes Juan’s sisters, Estella Matutes Juan,<\/b> will be recognized with the <\/span>Tanit Pioneer 2024<\/b> for her pioneering work in oncology research, which “has brought the name of Ibiza to the forefront of global medical science”.<\/span> For her part, <\/span>Esther Matutes Mestre<\/b> will be distinguished with the <\/span>Tanit Communicator 2024<\/b> for her “key role in faithfully representing the culture and values of the Pitiusas through her work as a delegate of IB3 TV”.<\/span> The designer Teresa Bermejo Poyan<\/b> will receive the <\/span>Tanit Creativa 2024<\/b> for “bringing Ibizan fashion to a global audience, fusing tradition and modernity, and positioning Ibiza as a creative reference”. <\/span><\/p>\n
