The Conseller of Tourism, <strong>Artal Mayans<\/strong>, has valued very positively the management of the first inspector of Tourism in the history of the Consell and has highlighted the importance of this action to deter future infractions. &#8220;Our goal is to maintain this pace of work in 2025 to root out illegal practices in the tourist rental sector,&#8221; he said. However, these may <strong>become a &#8220;dead letter&#8221; in the face of the impossibility of moving forward with sanctions.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>No Governing Board, no sanctions<\/h2>\n<p>Mayans himself has acknowledged in an interview on <em>Radio Illa<\/em> that<strong>&#8220;without the Governing Board can not finish putting the sanctions<\/strong>&#8220;. As it is an autonomic competence, the sanctions must be processed by the now defunct Governing Board of the Consell.
