The Chamber of Commerce of Ibiza and Formentera<\/strong> <\/a>held today, November 5<\/strong>, the first edition of the Halloween Window Dressing Awards<\/strong>, a contest that seeks to highlight the creativity of local businesses and strengthen trade on the island through themed decorations. This event, supported by the Consell de Ibiza<\/strong> <\/a>and several town halls of the island, has achieved an enthusiastic participation of establishments committed to create a special atmosphere for their customers during the celebration of Halloween. In this first edition, the Princess Eivissa<\/strong> shop window stood out with its original design, which earned it the Consell’s Special Prize<\/strong> of 1,000 euros<\/strong>. According to the organizers, this award is a recognition of the dedication of local businesses that strive to offer visual experiences that invite the public to enjoy a unique and attractive atmosphere. In addition, other categories of ambiance, creativity and originality were awarded, each with the purpose of recognizing businesses that managed to capture the essence of Halloween. The Chamber of Commerce stressed that these types of activities contribute to boost commercial activity, encouraging customers to visit local businesses and reinforcing the identity of Ibiza and Formentera as destinations with personality.<\/p>\n

The initiative will be repeated at Christmas<\/h2>\n

The season dedicated to small commerce continues with training plans in window dressing at the end of November and the Christmas Window Dressing Contest<\/strong> in December, a proposal that gives way to the winter campaign and maintains the boost to local commerce.
