This operation included <strong>288 visits<\/strong> to properties distributed throughout the island, after the selection of <strong>70 cadastral blocks<\/strong> in three different draws, where <strong>10 irregular cases<\/strong> were detected. Additionally, <strong>citizen collaboration<\/strong> allowed the identification of <strong>seven<\/strong> other <strong>cases<\/strong>, completing the total number of complaints. The <strong>Conseller of Tourism, Artal Mayans<\/strong>, has valued very positively the management of the first inspector of Tourism in the history of the <a href=\"https:\/\/lavozdeibiza.com\/actualidad\/2024\/08\/05\/formentera-nombra-a-su-primer-inspector-de-turismo-para-combatir-la-oferta-ilegal-en-la-isla\/\">Consell<\/a> and has highlighted the importance of this action to deter future infractions. &#8220;<strong>Our goal is to maintain this pace of work in 2025<\/strong> to root out illegal practices in the tourist rental sector,&#8221; he said. Mayans also urged property owners to opt for <strong>residential rentals<\/strong>, assuring that this modality offers greater guarantees for both landlords and tenants.<\/p>\n<p>In this regard, he highlighted the <strong>Lloguer Segur program<\/strong>, which seeks to promote long-term rentals, providing institutional support for the <strong>collection of monthly rents<\/strong> and ensuring the <strong>recovery of the property<\/strong> in good condition at the end of the contract.
