Despite this slight monthly decrease, <strong>between January and October 2024 passenger traffic has increased by 1.4%<\/strong>, reaching <strong>8.57 million<\/strong> users, according to data provided by Aena this Tuesday. The majority of travelers (847,591), flew on commercial connections. Within that figure, <strong>domestic traffic experienced a 3% drop<\/strong>, reaching 308,316 passengers, while <strong>international traffic remained on the rise, growing by 0.8%<\/strong> and adding 539,275 users. As for the main international markets, Aena reported that the United Kingdom continues to lead demand with 187,126 passengers, followed by <strong>Germany<\/strong> (96,207), <strong>Italy<\/strong> (72,520) and <strong>the Netherlands<\/strong> (61,985). Air operations during October remained stable, with <strong>7,577 flights<\/strong>, almost the same number as in the same month of the previous year.
