During the early morning and early hours of tomorrow, very heavy rainfall is expected, with peaks of up to <strong>40 liters per square meter in an hour<\/strong> and accumulations of up to <strong>100 liters in 12 hours<\/strong>, because of a DANA that affects the Pitiusas since early this morning. In addition, the northeast wind will reach <strong>60 kilometers per hour<\/strong> on the north coast, with waves of up to <strong>three meters<\/strong>. The delegate of AEMET in the Balearic Islands, <strong>Mar\u00eda Jos\u00e9 Guerrero<\/strong>, has warned that the showers may be especially intense between tonight and early Wednesday morning. Guerrero recommends the population to avoid unnecessary travel and secure outdoor property, as adverse conditions affect mobility in several areas of the island. In recent hours, the rains have already left their effects on waterlogged streets and parking lots, especially in <strong>Vila<\/strong> and <strong>Santa Eul\u00e0ria<\/strong>. Local authorities have suspended municipal activities to minimize risks. Below is the detailed forecast for each municipality:<\/p>\n<h2><strong>When will it stop raining in Ibiza?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Rainfall intensity is expected to begin to decrease after midday Wednesday. Thereafter, rainfall will progressively decrease, and weather conditions are expected to improve towards Thursday, when the rains will give way to more stable weather. <\/p>\n<h2><strong>Detailed forecast by municipality<\/strong><\/h2>\n<h3><strong>Ibiza<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>In <strong>Ibiza<\/strong>, the showers will remain intense during Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning. It is estimated that the accumulated rainfall could exceed <strong>100 liters per square meter<\/strong> at the end of the warning period. Northeasterly winds will be persistent, gusting up to <strong>60 km\/h<\/strong>, while thunderstorms could develop at intervals during the night. It is recommended to avoid low-lying areas of <strong>Vila<\/strong>, where drainage has been overwhelmed in recent hours.   <\/p>\n<h3><strong>Sant Josep<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>In <strong>Sant Josep<\/strong>, the forecast indicates torrential rains until dawn on Wednesday, with strong gusts of wind that will increase the risk in coastal areas. Areas such as <strong>Cala Tarida<\/strong> and <strong>Cala Bassa<\/strong> will be especially exposed to rising waves, and caution is advised on secondary roads, where small landslides have occurred. <\/p>\n<h3><strong>Santa Eul\u00e0ria<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>At <a href=\"https:\/\/lavozdeibiza.com\/actualidad\/2024\/11\/12\/tromba-de-agua-sorprende-a-santa-eularia-en-plena-alerta-naranja-por-fuertes-lluvias\/?swcfpc=1\"><strong>Santa Eul\u00e0ria<\/strong><\/a>heavy rainfall will continue during Tuesday night and Wednesday morning. The wind will maintain a high speed, reaching <strong>40 km \/ h<\/strong> on the coast. The situation will be especially delicate in the river environment, where the accumulation of water in low areas has already been evidenced, representing an additional risk of local flooding.  <\/p>\n<h3><strong>Sant Joan  <\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The northern area, in <strong>Sant Joan de Labritja<\/strong>, will face heavy showers throughout the early morning, with thunderstorm intervals and rainfall that will peak towards the early hours of Wednesday morning. The higher altitude areas could experience strong gusts of wind, so caution is advised in the accesses to rural areas. <\/p>\n<h3><strong>Sant Antoni<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>In <strong>Sant Antoni<\/strong>, the forecast for tonight includes rainfall that could reach <strong>40 liters per square meter<\/strong> in just one hour. Rainfall is expected to continue intermittently until Wednesday morning, with gusts of wind that will affect visibility and safety on the road connecting <strong>Sant Rafel<\/strong> and <strong>Ses Variades<\/strong>. <\/p>\n<h3><strong>Formentera<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>At <a href=\"https:\/\/lavozdeibiza.com\/category\/formentera\/?swcfpc=1\"><strong>Formentera<\/strong><\/a>heavy rains will continue until noon on Wednesday.
