According to <strong>AEMET<\/strong> forecasts, maximum temperatures during the Christmas holidays will reach 15 \u00b0C, while minimum temperatures will be around 7 \u00b0C. These conditions, although cool, are ideal for those wishing to take advantage of the natural landscapes of the islands. In addition, the agency forecasts moderate rainfall with accumulations of up to 28 liters per square meter over the Christmas period. <strong>However, the mostly clear days and mild temperatures will make it possible to enjoy walks on the beaches, visits to Christmas markets or even a swim for the braver ones<\/strong>. Although winds may be somewhat stronger in open areas, no significant phenomena are expected to affect normal activities.<\/p>\n<p><strong>  These conditions make Ibiza and Formentera a unique destination to spend a different Christmas, away from the extreme cold of other parts of Europe.<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/lavozdeibiza.com\/actualidad\/2024\/12\/01\/como-es-el-clima-de-ibiza-en-navidad\/?swcfpc=1\">What is the weather like in Ibiza at Christmas?<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><strong>Snow in Ibiza<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Although the image of a white Christmas may be tempting, in Ibiza and Formentera snow is practically non-existent. During the holidays, temperatures rarely drop low enough for precipitation to turn into snowflakes. The probability of finding snowy landscapes on the islands is extremely low, even in higher altitude areas such as Sant Joan. However, the mild temperatures allow the islands to be enjoyed in all their splendor, with clear skies and sunny days that contrast with the typically wintry landscapes of the rest of Europe. <\/p>\n<h2><strong>The weather in Ibiza for winter<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Winter will be marked by an alternation of anticyclonic days, with clear skies and mild temperatures, and fronts that will bring moderate rain and winds. January and February, the coldest months of the year, could record slight decreases in temperatures, but the general trend will be to maintain values above historical levels. AEMET forecasts an accumulated rainfall of around 100 liters per square meter between January and March, which is considered within the usual average.
