The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has activated the yellow alert for rain and storms in the Balearic Islands for Thursday for rainfall of 20 mm per hour.<\/strong> Thus, the alert would be activated in Ibiza and Formentera between 00.00 hours and 09.00 hours this Thursday,<\/strong> in Menorca and Mallorca would begin at 04.00 hours and would remain until 20.00 hours, although in the interior and south of Mallorca would be withdrawn at 15.00 hours. For its part, the Emergency Service 112 has activated the severity index (IG) 0 in all the islands for these meteorological phenomena and has asked for caution to the population.<\/p>\n
