In addition, funds have been earmarked for the maintenance of the <strong> <em>Sa Talaia<\/em> boat<\/strong>, a crucial tool in the corps&#8217; maritime interventions.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/lavozdeibiza.com\/actualidad\/2024\/12\/12\/can-jordi-seguira-abierto-el-alcalde-de-sant-josep-desvela-los-proximos-pasos\/?swcfpc=1\">Can Jordi will remain open: the mayor of Sant Josep reveals next steps<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The consistory has pointed out that these measures seek to ensure that Civil Protection has the necessary equipment to provide an optimal service to citizens, especially in emergencies, and to ensure adequate conditions for volunteers.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Complete renovation of the base at Sant Agust\u00ed<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>One of the most outstanding actions is the comprehensive reform of the <strong>Civil Protection base in Sant Agust\u00ed<\/strong>, which has involved an investment of <strong>216,785 euros<\/strong>. This renovation not only improves the facilities, but also reinforces the operational capacity of the corps, providing a functional and modern space. The official inauguration of the base will take place during the <strong>Diada de Protecci\u00f3n Civil<\/strong>, which will be held this Sunday, December 15 at 12:00 noon. This annual event will serve to recognize the merits of the volunteers and will mark the start of activities in the renovated facilities. <\/p>\n<h2><strong>An ongoing commitment to safety<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The City Council has stressed that these initiatives reflect the municipality&#8217;s commitment to public safety and the constant improvement of the Civil Protection service.
