It is a 550-meter long road that has been equipped with sidewalks, pedestrian crossings, bus stops and a traffic circle of 33 meters in diameter that replaces the now defunct &#8220;Travessera Siesta&#8221;, at the height of Calle dels Clavells. This, explained the <a href=\"https:\/\/lavozdeibiza.com\/tag\/consell-de-ibiza\/\">Consell de Ibiza<\/a>, will provide the neighborhood with greater accessibility, fluidity and safety.  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h4><a href=\"https:\/\/lavozdeibiza.com\/actualidad\/2024\/12\/23\/vicent-mari-sobreseido-en-la-causa-la-vida-islados\/?swcfpc=1\">Vicent Mar\u00ed dismissed in the case &#8220;La Vida Islados&#8221;.<\/a><\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Mar\u00ed explained that these works &#8220;respond to a historical demand of the residents of this area dating back to 2007 by the City Council and will allow safe access, both on foot and by vehicle, from Siesta, Can Ramon and Can Nadal to Santa Eul\u00e0ria&#8221;. According to the president of the Consell &#8220;these are neighborhoods that are very close in terms of distance, but were far away in terms of access possibilities, since the lack of infrastructure meant that many residents went by private vehicle because it was dangerous to go on foot&#8221;. Mar\u00ed has pointed out that &#8220;this situation no longer exists, thanks to the creation of a safe road, the elimination of a curve that reduced visibility, the creation of two new bus stops and the elimination of power and telephone lines&#8221; In addition, &#8220;the width of the lanes for vehicles increases by half a meter each way and have safety barriers throughout the stretch.&#8221; For his part, Ferrer, stressed that &#8220;these works are a response to a historical claim of the residents of this area. In addition, they have allowed the City Council to carry out several works to improve municipal infrastructure in these neighborhoods, so we are doubly congratulated&#8221;. These works have been executed by the UTE XXV Mejora carretera EI-100, formed by TECOPSA and Hermanos Parrot for an award amount of 3,229,826.07 euros (VAT included).
