This increase will go mainly to key areas such as Social Welfare, which will see an increase of 13.86%, in addition to a further reduction in <strong>residential IBI<\/strong>, in line with the tax relief policies implemented in recent years. The municipal cleaning service will receive a 1.5 million euro reinforcement to improve the image and maintenance of the city. Likewise, areas such as Sports and Culture will also experience increases, with items aimed at strengthening the cultural and sports offer of the Ibizan capital.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>New subsidized housing on the way<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>One of the highlights of the session was the transfer of a plot of land located on <strong>Vicent Serra y Orvay<\/strong> street to IBAVI for the construction of <strong>15 subsidized housing units (VPO)<\/strong> for rent. This project is part of the City Council&#8217;s Integral Housing Plan, which seeks to increase the availability of affordable housing in Ibiza. <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/lavozdeibiza.com\/actualidad\/2024\/12\/16\/cerco-al-alquiler-turistico-en-ibiza-descubre-los-cambios-en-la-lau-y-el-nuevo-decreto-del-gobierno\/?swcfpc=1\">Tourist rental in Ibiza: discover the changes in the LAU and the new government decree<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The councilman of Housing, <strong>Juan Flores<\/strong>, stressed the importance of this initiative as a key piece within the strategies to combat the housing crisis on the island. This effort is in addition to other initiatives underway, such as the housing construction projects in Sa Bodega and Playa d&#8217;en Bossa, which will add 311 units to the rental housing stock in the coming years. <\/p>\n<h2><strong>Changes in traffic regulations<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The plenary also initially approved an amendment to the Municipal Traffic Ordinance, which introduces measures to regulate parking and mobility in the municipality. Among the new features is the limitation of the maximum parking time in the same place to <strong>72 hours<\/strong>, in addition to restrictions for large vehicles in unauthorized areas. New rules were also established for <em>Zones 30<\/em> and loading and unloading hours on weekdays. These measures seek to improve mobility in the city, ensure a more efficient use of public spaces, and reduce traffic-related problems.  <\/p>\n<h2><strong>Additional approvals and plenary discussion<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>During the session, the staffing table and the Relaci\u00f3n de Puestos de Trabajo para 2025 were also approved, along with the Plan Estrat\u00e9gico de Subvenciones del Ayuntamiento and its autonomous bodies.
