The chapel, previously owned by a family who renounced to it, has been reformed thanks to the coordination between the City Council, the Department of Heritage, the Balearic Government and the Secretariat of Democratic Memory. <strong>&#8220;With this initiative we want to close wounds and honor the memory of those who did not have a dignified burial,&#8221; <\/strong>explained Manuel Jim\u00e9nez, councilman responsible for Cemeteries in Ibiza.
