While in the case of<strong> Ibiza is multiplied by three<\/strong>: in 2023 received 133 immigrants in 9 illegal boats. <\/p>\n<h2>Concern<\/h2>\n<p>The president of the Govern, <strong>Marga Prohens<\/strong>, has criticized the &#8220;<strong>total lack of control<\/strong>&#8221; in the arrival to the islands of<strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/lavozdeibiza.com\/?s=pateras&amp;lang=es&amp;swcfpc=1\">irregular immigrants in small boats<\/a><\/strong>. And she has pointed out that this is due to <strong>&#8220;the lack of troops of the State Security Forces and Corps (FFCCSE)&#8221;.<\/strong> According to Prohens &#8220;the lack of <strong>FFCCSE<\/strong> troops is linked to the difficulties to control the worrying crime data in the Balearic Islands&#8221; and &#8220;as a Government, we can only share the concern that this brings to citizens&#8221;, especially &#8220;when&#8221; migrants arriving on the shores of the Islands &#8220;face them with defiant and obscene gestures&#8221;. <\/p>\n<figure immigrants<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>2023: 137 boats and 2,194 migrants 2022: 176 boats and 2,637 migrants 2021: 164 boats and 2,402 migrants 2020: 112 boats and 1,464 migrants<\/p>\n<h2>Fatal route<\/h2>\n<p>A total of 10,457 people died in 2024 in their attempt to reach Spanish coasts, an average of almost<a href=\"https:\/\/lavozdeibiza.com\/actualidad\/2024\/12\/26\/la-mas-letal-del-mundo-la-ruta-en-la-que-mas-migrantes-mueren-al-intentar-llegar-a-espana\/?swcfpc=1\">  30 per day and an increase of 58 percent over the previous year.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>According to the <em>Right to Life Monitoring 2024<\/em> report, published by <strong>Caminando Fronteras, at least 517 people lost their lives along the
