Among the most prominent cases are the proceedings against the former president of the Royal Spanish Football Federation, <strong>Luis Rubiales<\/strong>, and the <strong>Pujol family<\/strong>, as well as the trial against the Galician drug trafficker <strong>Sito Mi\u00f1anco<\/strong> and 50 other defendants. <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h5><a href=\"https:\/\/lavozdeibiza.com\/actualidad\/2024\/11\/07\/obras-ilegales-en-la-nueva-casa-de-ana-duato-en-el-parque-natural-de-ibiza-legalizacion-inverosimil-al-estar-de-fuera-de-ordenacion\/\">Illegal construction work on Ana Duato&#8217;s new house in Ibiza&#8217;s natural park: legalization implausible because it is out of planning permission<\/a><\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Rubiales&#8217; trial, which will begin on <strong>February 3,<\/strong> will investigate the controversial non-consensual kissing of soccer player Jenni Hermoso after the World Cup in Sydney. The prosecution is seeking <strong>2 years and 6 months in prison<\/strong> for sexual assault and coercion. <strong>Jorge Vilda<\/strong>, Albert Luque and Rub\u00e9n Rivera will also be tried for alleged coercion related to the case. The trial of the Pujol family will start on <strong>November 10,<\/strong> facing charges of <strong>criminal organization, money laundering and tax fraud.<\/strong> The Prosecutor&#8217;s Office is asking for sentences of up to <strong>29 years in prison<\/strong> for Jordi Pujol Ferrusola and <strong>9 years<\/strong> for former President Jordi Pujol.  <\/p>\n<h2><strong>Key judgments in 2025<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Among the expected resolutions, the cases <strong>Nueva Rumasa<\/strong>, involving the children of Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda Ruiz-Mateos, and <strong>Nummaria<\/strong>, in which actors Imanol Arias and Ana Duato are being tried for tax fraud, stand out. The sentence of the <strong>&#8216;fire cartel&#8217;<\/strong>, related to alleged rigging of fire fighting contracts, is also expected. <\/p>\n<h2><strong>Ongoing investigations<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The NA will continue to make progress in cases such as the alleged <strong>fraud of Madeira Invest Club<\/strong>, linked to MEP Luis &#8216;Alvise&#8217;
