Flights will start on <strong>June 5, 2025<\/strong> and will be operational until <strong>September 28, 2025<\/strong>, with a frequency of <strong>two flights per week<\/strong> (Thursdays and Sundays). <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h5><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/lavozdeibiza.com\/actualidad\/2024\/03\/29\/ibiza-tendra-conexiones-directas-por-primera-vez-a-malta-y-letonia-en-verano\/\">Ibiza will have direct connections for the first time to Malta and Latvia in summer<\/a><\/strong><\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This is the second time that Ibiza has a direct connection with Romania. The first time the link was provided by <a href=\"https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Blue_Air\">Blue Air, a<\/a> low-cost airline that operated at the airport of es Codolar during the 2022 season, year in which it ceased operations. <\/p>\n<h3>Operation details<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Aircraft used:<\/strong> Airbus A220-300, configured for <strong>137 passengers<\/strong>, including <strong>12 business class seats<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Total weekly capacity to Ibiza:<\/strong> 274 seats.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Other routes to Spain<\/h3>\n<p>With the addition of Ibiza, Animawings consolidates its offer between Romania and Spain. Routes for the 2025 summer season include: <\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>From Bucharest\/Otopeni:<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Gran Canaria (LPA):<\/strong> One flight per week (Tuesdays) from <strong>June 10 to September 30.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>From Timi\u0219oara:<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Palma de Mallorca (PMI):<\/strong> One flight per week (Thursdays) from <strong>June 12 to September 25<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>In total, the airline will offer <strong>548 seats per week<\/strong> between Romania and Spain, making it the only airline that will connect the three Spanish destinations with Romania during the summer season.<\/p>\n<h3>About Animawings<\/h3>\n<p>Founded in <strong>2019<\/strong>, <strong>Animawings<\/strong> is part of the <strong>Memento Group<\/strong> tourism group. Between <strong>2021 and 2024<\/strong>, the airline was supported by <strong>Aegean Airlines<\/strong>, which participated as a shareholder, and operated under wet-lease agreements using Aegean and Dan Airbus A320ceo aircraft. Currently, Animawings connects <strong>six Romanian airports<\/strong> with leisure and beach destinations in countries such as <strong>Cyprus, United Arab Emirates, Spain, France, Greece, Morocco, Portugal, Spain, Sweden and the United Arab Emirates<\/strong>. With the expansion to Ibiza, it reaffirms its focus on offering connections to major European tourist destinations.
