According to the regulator, the company presented deficiencies in its <strong>administrative, technical or personnel organization<\/strong> and in its internal control procedures. These failures made it impossible to guarantee the entity&#8217;s capacity to accurately know the real estate market in which it operates, as well as the compliance with the valuation rules and the obligations of professional independence and incompatibilities of its staff.  <\/p>\n<h4>Fines to the company&#8217;s executives<\/h4>\n<p>In addition to the overall sanction, the Bank of Spain has imposed <strong>individual fines<\/strong> on the members of the company&#8217;s management body, with the following outstanding amounts: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Juan Fern\u00e1ndez-Aceytuno S\u00e1enz de Santa Mar\u00eda<\/strong>, Chief Executive Officer: <strong>16,000 euros<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Tom\u00e1s Nicolau Camino<\/strong>, general manager: <strong>12,000 euros<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Ignacio Morer de Llorens<\/strong>, Chairman: <strong>6,000 euros<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Marcelo Rodrigo Gonz\u00e1lez<\/strong> and <strong>Fernando Carlos Mart\u00edn Y\u00e1\u00f1ez<\/strong>, directors: <strong>6,000 euros each<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Ignacio Estevas Guilmain<\/strong>, director: <strong>4,500 euros<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Impact of the sanction<\/h4>\n<p>The Bank of Spain highlighted that these sanctions reflect the <strong>seriousness of the deficiencies detected<\/strong>, which compromise Sociedad de Tasaci\u00f3n&#8217;s ability to operate independently and rigorously in the real estate market. The regulator stressed the importance of having robust internal procedures in place to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
