The <strong>Tourism Strategy Agency (Aetib)<\/strong> is coordinating the presence of the archipelago, which will have<strong> a new stand of 1,000 square meters<\/strong>, financed with European funds from the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan. <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h4><a href=\"https:\/\/lavozdeibiza.com\/actualidad\/2025\/01\/16\/deporte-y-desestacionalizacion-la-apuesta-de-ibiza-en-fitur-2025\/?swcfpc=1\">Sport and deseasonalization: Ibiza&#8217;s bet at Fitur 2025<\/a><\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The design of the space is inspired by water and its ecosystems, and seeks to reflect on the care of natural resources. In addition, it has been <strong>built with sustainable materials<\/strong> and is equipped with functional areas, such as a central agora, meeting rooms and a space dedicated to gastronomy. The latter, coordinated by the Conselleria de Agricultura, Pesca y Medio Natural, will feature <strong>25 showcookings by renowned chefs such as \u00d3scar Molina, Patrick James and Miquel Calent<\/strong>, who will prepare local dishes paired with wines from the islands&#8217; designations of origin.  <\/p>\n<h2><strong>A transformative tourism model<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The president of the Government, <strong>Margalida Prohens<\/strong>, and the Minister of Tourism, <strong>Jaume Bauz\u00e0<\/strong>, will present on January 22 the <strong>transformation plan towards sustainable tourism in the Balearic Islands<\/strong>, highlighting initiatives to balance economic development with environmental preservation. During the fair, the islands will present their main tourism developments for 2025, with a focus on diversifying the offer and promoting environmentally friendly activities. Highlights include <strong>tasting workshops of local products<\/strong>, prepared by students from the Balearic School of Hotel and Catering, as well as <strong>presentations by the participating island councils and town halls<\/strong>. Each day will be dedicated to an island:<strong> Ibiza and Formentera on January 22, Menorca on the 24th, and Mallorca on the 23rd, 25th and 26th<\/strong>. In addition to showcookings, cocktails made with Ibizan herbs, gin from Ma\u00f3 and Palo de Mallorca, prepared by students from the School of Hospitality will be offered.  <\/p>\n<h2><strong>Connectivity and sustainability at the fair<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The stand also includes radio booths for live broadcasts and a booking system for business meetings, seeking to optimize interaction between professionals. All activities will be broadcast in streaming through the YouTube channel of Turismo Illes Balears, reinforcing the accessibility and dissemination of its proposal.
