The <strong>Tourism Strategy Agency (Aetib)<\/strong> is coordinating the presence of the archipelago, which will have<strong> a new 1,000-square-meter stand<\/strong>, financed with European funds from the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan. The design of the space is inspired by water and its ecosystems, and seeks to reflect on the care of natural resources. In addition, it has been <strong>built with sustainable materials<\/strong> and is equipped with functional areas, such as a central agora, meeting rooms and a space dedicated to gastronomy. The latter, coordinated by the Conselleria de Agricultura, Pesca y Medio Natural, will feature <strong>25 showcookings by renowned chefs such as \u00d3scar Molina, Patrick James and Miquel Calent<\/strong>, who will prepare local dishes paired with wines from the islands&#8217; designations of origin. <\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_82306\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-82306\" style=\"width: 1280px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"https:\/\/lavozdeibiza.com\/?attachment_id=82305\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-82305\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-82305\" title=\"Fitur. During the fair, the islands will present their main tourism developments for 2025, with a focus on diversifying the offer and promoting environmentally friendly activities. For the first time, the Balearic stand will include <strong>an enogastronomic space<\/strong> dedicated exclusively to the promotion of <strong>local products<\/strong>. Each day will be dedicated to an island:<strong> Ibiza and Formentera on Wednesday, Menorca on the 24th, and Mallorca on the 23rd, 25th and 26th<\/strong>. In addition to showcookings, cocktails made with Ibizan herbs, gin from Ma\u00f3 and Palo de Mallorca, prepared by students of the School of Hospitality will be offered.<\/p>\n<h2>Ibiza&#8217;s strategy<\/h2>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/lavozdeibiza.com\/ibiza\/2025\/01\/10\/el-consell-de-ibiza-aprobo-definitivamente-el-presupuesto-2025-a-que-se-destinara\/?swcfpc=1\"><strong>Consell de Ibiza<\/strong><\/a> has set as a strategy to position the<strong> island as a sports destination<\/strong> capable of attracting national visitors during the spring and autumn months, when the influx of tourists is considerably lower. This approach responds to the need to balance tourist activity throughout the year, extending stays beyond the high season. The island&#8217;s stand, located in <strong>Pavilion 9<\/strong>, will have a <strong>300 m\u00b2<\/strong> space where not only the sports offer will be promoted, but also the cultural, heritage and gastronomic offer that complements the visitor&#8217;s experience. One of the main events will be the official presentation of the Consell on Thursday at the <strong>Movistar Arena<\/strong> in Madrid. At this event, prominent athletes such as <strong>Alberto Contador<\/strong>, <strong>Miguel Indurain<\/strong> and <strong>N\u00faria Picas<\/strong> will share their experiences enjoying the sporting offer of the island. In addition, specialized journalists such as <strong>Nico de Vicente<\/strong> and <strong>Lourdes Garc\u00eda Campos<\/strong> will be in charge of conducting the event, ensuring a significant media impact. <\/p>\n<h2>The proposal of the municipalities<\/h2>\n<p>The effort to deseasonalize tourism also has the backing of the island&#8217;s town halls, which will bring their own proposals to Fitur. <strong>Sant Antoni<\/strong>, for example, will highlight an artistic intervention in its historic center, while <strong>Santa Eul\u00e0ria des Riu<\/strong> will present a guide dedicated to the emblematic kiosks of the municipality.
