This move reaffirms its commitment to the <em>premium<\/em> and luxury segments, seeking to consolidate its position as a leader in the global tourism market.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h5><a href=\"https:\/\/lavozdeibiza.com\/actualidad\/2025\/01\/22\/las-pitiusas-abriran-el-espacio-enogastronomico-para-reivindicar-sus-productos-locales\/?swcfpc=1\">The pitiusas will open the enogastronomic space to claim their local products<\/a><\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><strong>Expansion with a strategic vision<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The Chairman and CEO of Meli\u00e1, Gabriel Escarrer Jaume, highlighted in his speech that the company closed 2024 with an EBITDA of more than 525 million euros and a <em>RevPAR<\/em> (revenue per available room) growth of more than 30%. <strong>. In Latin America, Meli\u00e1 is expanding its reach in Argentina, Brazil and Colombia, with a strategy focused on urban and nature destinations. <\/p>\n<h2><strong>New horizons: Middle East and Asia Pacific<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Meli\u00e1 is also looking to the Middle East, with projects in emerging destinations such as Saudi Arabia, while consolidating its leadership in Asia Pacific. Vietnam, with 22 hotels in operation and five more under development, is key in this region, along with new projects in Thailand and Malaysia. In the Indian Ocean, the chain is committed to luxury with the upcoming opening of Meli\u00e1 Amilla Fushi in the Maldives and Meli\u00e1 Mah\u00e9 in the Seychelles, raising its brand <em>The Meli\u00e1 Collection<\/em>. <\/p>\n<h2><strong>Repositioning: key to success<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Investment in repositioning and <em>rebranding<\/em> has exceeded 400 million euros in the last two years. In Spain, with projects such as <strong>Meli\u00e1 Ibiza<\/strong> and Casa de las Artes Meli\u00e1 Collection, Meli\u00e1 has repositioned 23 hotels, reinforcing its luxury and differentiation proposal. <\/p>\n<h2><strong>Innovation and sustainability as pillars<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Meli\u00e1 underlines its commitment to sustainable tourism and innovation.
