Tickets will be on sale starting next week, according to the airline in a press release.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h5><a href=\"https:\/\/lavozdeibiza.com\/actualidad\/2025\/01\/17\/ibiza-se-libra-del-recorte-de-rutas-con-el-que-la-polemica-ryanair-presiona-a-aena\/?swcfpc=1\">Ibiza is spared from the route cuts with which the controversial Ryanair is pressuring Aena<\/a><\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><strong>A solid expansion strategy<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The route between Santander and Ibiza is part of the strategy of Vueling, an IAG group company, to strengthen its presence in the domestic market and in the main international corridors. This move is part of an increase of more than one million seats scheduled for the upcoming summer season, representing a 6% growth compared to the previous summer. In addition to this new connection, Vueling will maintain the existing routes from Santander to Barcelona, with 10 weekly frequencies, and Palma de Mallorca, with two weekly flights.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Fleet reinforcement and connectivity<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><strong>To cope with this expansion of its operations, Vueling will add five new aircraft this year<\/strong>. Three of them will be based at Barcelona airport, which will strengthen key routes to international destinations.
