However, instead of performing the inspection on the island, it was decided to move it to Mallorca. Two weeks later, it has still not returned, which has generated concern and discomfort among emergency service workers.  <\/p>\n<p>The works council of GSAIB, which manages the 061 ambulances in the Balearic Islands, has criticized this situation and fears that the vehicle could end up staying permanently in Mallorca. What should have been a simple technical inspection has left Ibiza without a key resource in an emergency. <\/p>\n<h1><strong>Lack of personnel: an unsolved problem in Ibiza<\/strong><\/h1>\n<p>Beyond the absence of the vehicle, the problem is even deeper.<strong>  Even if the health logistics ambulance had been on the island, it could not have been used because Ibiza does not have the necessary personnel to operate it.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Unlike Mallorca and Menorca, where these resources do have health emergency technicians for their operation, in Ibiza there have never been enough professionals to activate it in a crisis situation.
