Club Nautico de Ibiza<\/strong><\/a> have decided to go to court to demand transparency in the rates to be paid to the new concessionaire<strong>, Puertos y Litorales Sostenibles<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Moorers&#8217; Association<\/strong> has announced the initiation of two legal proceedings, one in the civil and the other in the administrative area, with the objective of clear and direct communication of the prices established for the use of moorings.<\/p>\n<p>This decision comes after one of the members of the group has been involved in legal proceedings following a claim for an &#8220;alleged debt&#8221; by the concessionary company.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h5><a href=\"https:\/\/lavozdeibiza.com\/actualidad\/2025\/02\/06\/por-que-los-cruceros-los-barcos-mas-contaminantes-se-quedan-afuera-del-proyecto-de-ahorro-de-emisiones-en-el-puerto\/?swcfpc=1\">Why cruise ships, the most polluting vessels, are left out of the port emissions savings project<\/a><\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>According to the association,<strong>the mooring agent in question never refused to pay, but rather disagreed with the lack of prior information on the rates,<\/strong> which led to a dispute over the amount demanded<strong>.<\/strong> <\/p>\n<h2><strong>Lack of communication and possible non-compliance<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><strong>From the Mooring Association they argue that the main problem is not the payment itself, but the lack of individual notification about the rates, something they consider essential to guarantee the rights of users.<\/strong> They state that without clear and direct communication, the amount claimed &#8220;cannot be considered valid without more&#8221;. <\/p>\n<p>To resolve this situation, the group has hired law firms specializing in maritime law and public procurement, with the aim of clarifying compliance with the contract and the obligations of the concessionaire.<\/p>\n<p>In the case of the accused mooring operator, his lawyer rejected the request to suspend the trial by Puertos y Litorales Sostenibles, arguing that it did not make sense to prolong a debate on a debt that had already been deposited in court.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>A conflict that could set a precedent<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The association insists that transparency is key in the management of the Ibiza Yacht Club and that rates must be notified individually before their application.<\/p>\n<p>They consider that this legal process not only seeks to
