Ibiza<\/strong><\/a> is executing a plan to improve the<strong> island&#8217;<\/strong> s<strong> road network<\/strong> with an investment of 1.5 million euros.<\/p>\n<p>These works, which have a completion period of five months, seek to correct deficiencies detected on several roads of the island and improve the safety and comfort of drivers.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h5><a href=\"https:\/\/lavozdeibiza.com\/actualidad\/2025\/02\/13\/el-desfase-en-presupuestos-frena-obras-en-ibiza-seis-licitaciones-quedan-desiertas-en-2024\/?swcfpc=1\">The gap in budgets slows down works in Ibiza: six tenders remain vacant in 2024<\/a><\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><strong>Actions already completed and work in progress<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The first interventions within this plan have been carried out in the crossings of <strong>Sant Joan and Sant Miquel<\/strong>, where repair works have been carried out on the road surface.<\/p>\n<p>Currently, the works are focused on the road to <strong>es Cubells, in Sant Josep<\/strong>, where, in addition to correcting damage to the roadway, the complete replacement of the pavement is planned.<\/p>\n<p>The improvements also include the correction of sinkholes and undermining caused by the passage of time and the growth of tree roots near the road, a recurring problem on some of the island&#8217;s roads.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Upcoming actions on other roads<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>In addition to the interventions in Sant Joan, Sant Miquel and es Cubells, the improvement plan of the Consell plans to act in other parts of the island.<\/p>\n<p>Among the roads included in the project are the <strong>EI-20 ring road in the municipality of Ibiza<\/strong>, the <strong>Sant Miquel road<\/strong>, and the road connecting <strong>Sant Miquel with Sant Antoni, passing through Sant Mateu and Santa Agn\u00e8s<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>From the insular institution have pointed out that this plan seeks to recover the surface characteristics of the affected roads and to reinforce the safety of the users of the insular road network.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>A plan with an execution period of five months<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The
