SUMMARY:Magical Christmas in Santa Eulària
DESCRIPTION:Santa Eulària will kick off Christmas on December 5\, with the traditional lighting of the lights of the town hall accompanied by Christmas carols performed by the Youth Band\, the Children’s Choir and the students of the Municipal School of Music. \nAt 19:00 h the Mercat de Nadal will be inaugurated in Passeig de s’Alamera\, where an artificial snowfall will mark the beginning of an expanded market that this year incorporates afternoon stalls\, workshops for adults and activities for all ages. \nThe Christmas program\, which will run until January 6\, includes more than 130 proposals between samples of Christmas carols\, the Escola de Nadal\, the classic meeting of parish choirs and novelties such as the I Concurs de Decoració Nadalenca de Balcons\, which seeks to fill the streets of the municipality with light and color. SUMMARY:Christmas Decoration and Illumination Contest in Ibiza

The exhibition includes works by twenty artists\, among them Josep Marí\, Antoni Pomar\, Narcís Puget Riquer\, Mario Stafforini and José Manuel Chico Prats. The proposal allows rediscovering spaces of the island from different perspectives and artistic stages. During the month of February\, the hall will be closed for renovations.

SUMMARY:Inauguration of the municipal nativity scene of Sant Antoni
DESCRIPTION:Date: Thursday\, December 18 \nTime: 5:00 p.m. \nPlace: Santa Agnès Street\, 4 (Sant Antoni de Portmany) \nThe City Council of Sant Antoni inaugurates the municipal nativity scene with a change of date with respect to the initial schedule. The opening will finally take place on Thursday\, December 18 at 17.00 hours.  \nThe nativity scene of this edition has been made by José Luis Maeso\, a master nativity scene maker from Valladolid based in Ibiza\, with an extensive experience in the elaboration of nativity scenes on the island. The installation\, of about 7 square meters\, recreates the mystery of the birth of Jesus and the arrival of the Magi\, with high quality figures\, a careful setting and abundant vegetation. It is a Castilian style nativity scene\, conceived as a space for contemplation especially designed for children\, without losing the attraction for adults.   \nAfter the inauguration\, the nativity scene can be visited from Monday to Friday\, from 17.00 to 20.00 hours\, and on Saturdays\, Sundays and holidays\, from 11.00 to 13.00 hours and from 17.00 to 20.00 hours. The event marks the beginning of the Christmas celebrations in the municipality.

La apertura tendrá lugar finalmente el jueves 18 de diciembre a las 17.00 horas. \nEl belén de esta edición ha sido realizado por José Luis Maeso\, maestro belenista de Valladolid afincado en Ibiza\, con una amplia trayectoria en la elaboración de belenes en la isla. La instalación\, de unos 7 metros cuadrados\, recrea el misterio del nacimiento de Jesús y la llegada de los Reyes Magos\, con figuras de gran calidad\, una cuidada ambientación y abundante vegetación. Se trata de un belén de estilo castellano\, concebido como un espacio de contemplación pensado especialmente para el público infantil\, sin perder el atractivo para los adultos. \nTras la inauguración\, el belén podrá visitarse de lunes a viernes\, de 17.00 a 20.00 horas\, y los sábados\, domingos y festivos\, de 11.00 a 13.00 horas y de 17.00 a 20.00 horas. El acto marca el inicio de las celebraciones navideñas en el municipio.
