The Code of Ethics and Conduct of the PSOE leaves no room for doubt: «You must apply for voluntary withdrawal as a member and resign from your position» when an order to open an oral trial is issued, as has happened in the ‘puertos case’ for which the socialist spokesman of Ibiza faces a three-year prison sentence for a continuous crime of embezzlement.
