El Consell de Ibiza ha puesto en marcha el proceso de participación ciudadana en medio de la controversia con Mallorca, que se opone a recibir la basura para incinerarlos en Son Reus.

El conseller insular de Vox, Jaime Díaz de Entresotos, defiende en la oposición en Ibiza que la solución a largo plazo es construir una incineradora en la isla, aunque reconoce que la inversión es «brutal» y que, mientras tanto, trasladar los residuos a Mallorca podría ser una alternativa viable: «No nos oponemos al traslado temporal de los residuos».

Vox’s island councilor, Jaime Díaz de Entresotos, defends in the opposition in Ibiza that the long-term solution is to build an incinerator on the island, although he recognizes that the investment is «brutal» and that, in the meantime, moving the waste to Mallorca could be a viable alternative: «We are not opposed to the temporary transfer of waste».
