After months without an opening date, the provisional facilities of Botafoc and La Savina have come into operation coinciding with the arrival of more than a hundred people to the Pitiusas in just 48 hours. According to the Government Delegation, National Police, Civil Guard and Maritime Rescue have had to activate 17 rescue operations while the works of the module planned in the port of Palma continue.

The new facility, located in Cas Llaurador, brings together for the first time on the island a funeral parlor, crematorium and cemetery in the same complex and offers discounted services for families with fewer resources.
