Soccer is growing in Ibiza. An island that has traditionally lived the king of sports in the background, has seen how in recent years the script is changing. The promotion of UD Ibiza to the Second Division, in 2021, broke with expectations and placed the Pitiusa Island on the national soccer map. It is not the only case. The new divisional format of the Royal Spanish Football Federation has opened a new scenario in which up to three clubs aspire to reposition themselves in professional soccer.

In what was one of the most awaited moments, they stopped at the stand of the Comunitat Valenciana, where they received four fans made by artisans from the epicenter of the DANA by the president of the Generalitat, Carlos Mazón.

The island becomes the epicenter of international aquatic sports with an event that will bring together more than 1,000 swimmers and will count towards the Los Angeles Olympic Games 2028.
