SUMMARY:Magical Christmas in Ibiza: more than 50 days of activities for the whole family
DESCRIPTION:Dates: November 21\, 2025 to January 11\, 2026 \n\n\n\n\nVenue: Various spaces in the municipality of Ibiza (Vara de Rey\, Parque Reina Sofía\, Sa Joveria\, squares\, churches and cultural centers). \nIbiza once again becomes The City of Christmas\, with more than seven weeks of free proposals that include music\, workshops\, shows\, markets\, fairs and activities for all ages. This year\, the City Council incorporates an outstanding novelty: the new accessible letters to Santa Claus and the Three Wise Men\, available for download on the municipal website\, designed so that all children can write their wishes without barriers.  \nAmong the central spaces of the program are the Fair of Attractions in Sa Joveria (November 21 – January 11)\, the Christmas Market in Vara de Rey ( November 29 – January 6)\, the Gastronomic Market\, the Santa Claus Solidarity House and the traditional Bethlehem of Sant Elm (December 8 – January 7). In addition\, youth workshops\, magic shows\, concerts\, dance and sports and family activities throughout the municipality.  \n\n\n\n\n\nThe official inauguration will be on November 29\, with the lighting of lights and the show «Building Christmas» in the Reina Sofia Park\, followed by parties and performances in different parts of the city. \n\n\n\n\nIbiza is thus transformed into a great festive stage with a wide range of proposals\, accessible and designed for all audiences. \n\n\n\n\nFull program: Magical Christmas in Ibiza: more than 50 days of lights\, shows and free plans for the whole family.

DESCRIPTION:Date: From December 6\, 2025 to January 18\, 2026 \n\n\n\n\nPlace: Parra & Romero\, c/ Passeig de Santa Gertrudis 9\, Ibiza \nParra & Romero presents the first solo exhibition of the Ibizan artist Laura de Grinyo\, curated by Alejandra Navarro. The exhibition brings together her sound sculptures\, pieces that are born from her ceramic and musical training\, and that invite to a sensory experience where the clay becomes an instrument.  \nEach work proposes an intimate journey through vibrations and frequencies that evoke Gregorian chants\, ancestral scales and contemporary rituals. Many of the sculptures are conceived to interact with the body\, enhancing its resonance.  \n\n\n\n\n\nThe exhibition includes a sound performance with Héctor Koa\, in which the pieces are activated live to reveal their full acoustic and spiritual dimension. \n\n\n\n\nTime of the performance: Saturday\, December 13 at 6:00 p.m.

This year\, the City Council incorporates an outstanding novelty: the new accessible letters to Santa Claus and the Three Wise Men\, available for download on the municipal website\, designed so that all children can write their wishes without barriers.  \nAmong the central spaces of the program are the Fair of Attractions in Sa Joveria (November 21 – January 11)\, the Christmas Market in Vara de Rey ( November 29 – January 6)\, the Gastronomic Market\, the Santa Claus Solidarity House and the traditional Bethlehem of Sant Elm (December 8 – January 7). The exhibition brings together her sound sculptures\, pieces that are born from her ceramic and musical training\, and that invite to a sensory experience where the clay becomes an instrument.  \nEach work proposes an intimate journey through vibrations and frequencies that evoke Gregorian chants\, ancestral scales and contemporary rituals. DESCRIPTION:El Ayuntamiento de Ibiza abre inscripciones para una nueva edición del programa “Gente Mayor en Activo”\, una propuesta gratuita dirigida a personas jubiladas\, empadronadas o residentes en la ciudad que deseen disfrutar de un semestre lleno de bienestar\, aprendizaje y vida comunitaria. Las actividades se desarrollarán de enero a junio de 2026\, con un total de 14 talleres\, 16 grupos y 241 plazas disponibles. \n\n\n\n\nLa programación incluye un amplio bloque de actividades físicas en el Esplai de Can Ventosa y el Bulevar Abel Matutes\, con propuestas como gimnasia\, pilates (dos grupos)\, fitness motivacional\, yoga y relajación\, danza y movimiento\, gimnasia de mantenimiento y danza música latina. \nEl segundo bloque reúne talleres artísticos\, emocionales y cognitivos en el Casal de la Igualdad\, como juegos del mundo (ajedrez\, dominó)\, estimulación cognitiva\, risoterapia\, teatro\, fotografía\, cerámica y pintura; actividades diseñadas para estimular la creatividad\, reforzar la memoria y fomentar la socialización. \nLas inscripciones estarán abiertas del 9 al 15 de diciembre de 2025\, tanto online —a través de la sede electrónica— como presencialmente en la Concejalía de Mayores (Esplai Can Ventosa\, de 09:00 a 13:00 horas).
