SUMMARY:Senior Active Program - Enrollment 2026
DESCRIPTION:The City Council of Ibiza opens registrations for a new edition of the program «Gente Mayor en Activo»\, a free proposal aimed at retired people\, registered or residents in the city who wish to enjoy a semester full of wellness\, learning and community life. The activities will take place from January to June 2026\, with a total of 14 workshops\, 16 groups and 241 places available.  \n\n\n\n\nThe program includes a wide range of physical activities at Esplai de Can Ventosa and Bulevar Abel Matutes\, with proposals such as gymnastics\, pilates (two groups)\, motivational fitness\, yoga and relaxation\, dance and movement\, maintenance gymnastics and Latin music dance. \nThe second block brings together artistic\, emotional and cognitive workshops at the Casal de la Igualdad\, such as world games (chess\, dominoes)\, cognitive stimulation\, laughter therapy\, theater\, photography\, ceramics and painting; activities designed to stimulate creativity\, reinforce memory and encourage socialization. \nRegistrations will be open from December 9 to 15\, 2025\, both online -through the electronic headquarters- and in person at the Department of Elderly (Esplai Can Ventosa\, from 09:00 to 13:00 hours). SUMMARY:Magical Christmas in Ibiza: more than 50 days of activities for the whole family
DESCRIPTION:Dates: November 21\, 2025 to January 11\, 2026 \n\n\n\n\nVenue: Various spaces in the municipality of Ibiza (Vara de Rey\, Parque Reina Sofía\, Sa Joveria\, squares\, churches and cultural centers). \nIbiza once again becomes The City of Christmas\, with more than seven weeks of free proposals that include music\, workshops\, shows\, markets\, fairs and activities for all ages. This year\, the City Council incorporates an outstanding novelty: the new accessible letters to Santa Claus and the Three Wise Men\, available for download on the municipal website\, designed so that all children can write their wishes without barriers.  \nAmong the central spaces of the program are the Fair of Attractions in Sa Joveria (November 21 – January 11)\, the Christmas Market in Vara de Rey ( November 29 – January 6)\, the Gastronomic Market\, the Santa Claus Solidarity House and the traditional Bethlehem of Sant Elm (December 8 – January 7). The exhibition brings together her sound sculptures\, pieces that are born from her ceramic and musical training\, and that invite to a sensory experience where the clay becomes an instrument.  \nEach work proposes an intimate journey through vibrations and frequencies that evoke Gregorian chants\, ancestral scales and contemporary rituals. This year\, the City Council incorporates an outstanding novelty: the new accessible letters to Santa Claus and the Three Wise Men\, available for download on the municipal website\, designed so that all children can write their wishes without barriers.  \nAmong the central spaces of the program are the Fair of Attractions in Sa Joveria (November 21 – January 11)\, the Christmas Market in Vara de Rey ( November 29 – January 6)\, the Gastronomic Market\, the Santa Claus Solidarity House and the traditional Bethlehem of Sant Elm (December 8 – January 7). The exhibition brings together her sound sculptures\, pieces that are born from her ceramic and musical training\, and that invite to a sensory experience where the clay becomes an instrument.  \nEach work proposes an intimate journey through vibrations and frequencies that evoke Gregorian chants\, ancestral scales and contemporary rituals. Many of the sculptures are conceived to interact with the body\, enhancing its resonance.  \n\n\n\n\n\nThe exhibition includes a sound performance with Héctor Koa\, in which the pieces are activated live to reveal their full acoustic and spiritual dimension. \n\n\n\n\nTime of the performance: Saturday\, December 13 at 6:00 p.m.

DESCRIPTION:The City Council of Ibiza opens registrations for a new edition of the program «Gente Mayor en Activo»\, a free proposal aimed at retired people\, registered or residents in the city who wish to enjoy a semester full of wellness\, learning and community life. The activities will take place from January to June 2026\, with a total of 14 workshops\, 16 groups and 241 places available.  \n\n\n\n\nThe program includes a wide range of physical activities at Esplai de Can Ventosa and Bulevar Abel Matutes\, with proposals such as gymnastics\, pilates (two groups)\, motivational fitness\, yoga and relaxation\, dance and movement\, maintenance gymnastics and Latin music dance. \nThe second block brings together artistic\, emotional and cognitive workshops at the Casal de la Igualdad\, such as world games (chess\, dominoes)\, cognitive stimulation\, laughter therapy\, theater\, photography\, ceramics and painting; activities designed to stimulate creativity\, reinforce memory and encourage socialization. \nRegistrations will be open from December 9 to 15\, 2025\, both online -through the electronic headquarters- and in person at the Department of Elderly (Esplai Can Ventosa\, from 09:00 to 13:00 hours). SUMMARY:Magical Christmas in Ibiza: more than 50 days of activities for the whole family
DESCRIPTION:Dates: November 21\, 2025 to January 11\, 2026 \n\n\n\n\nVenue: Various spaces in the municipality of Ibiza (Vara de Rey\, Parque Reina Sofía\, Sa Joveria\, squares\, churches and cultural centers). \nIbiza once again becomes The City of Christmas\, with more than seven weeks of free proposals that include music\, workshops\, shows\, markets\, fairs and activities for all ages. This year\, the City Council incorporates an outstanding novelty: the new accessible letters to Santa Claus and the Three Wise Men\, available for download on the municipal website\, designed so that all children can write their wishes without barriers.  \nAmong the central spaces of the program are the Fair of Attractions in Sa Joveria (November 21 – January 11)\, the Christmas Market in Vara de Rey ( November 29 – January 6)\, the Gastronomic Market\, the Santa Claus Solidarity House and the traditional Bethlehem of Sant Elm (December 8 – January 7). Each work starts from a dark base on which Arató builds layers of luminous color\, a process that makes light the protagonist and transforms the canvas into a space of contemplation.  \n\n\n\n\nThe exhibition proposes a journey through landscapes that do not seek to imitate reality\, but to reveal the energy that sustains it: the movement of the sea\, the vibration of the air\, the pulse of the earth. DESCRIPTION:Date: From December 6\, 2025 to January 18\, 2026 \n\n\n\n\nPlace: Parra & Romero\, c/ Passeig de Santa Gertrudis 9\, Ibiza \nParra & Romero presents the first solo exhibition of the Ibizan artist Laura de Grinyo\, curated by Alejandra Navarro. The exhibition brings together her sound sculptures\, pieces that are born from her ceramic and musical training\, and that invite to a sensory experience where the clay becomes an instrument.  \nEach work proposes an intimate journey through vibrations and frequencies that evoke Gregorian chants\, ancestral scales and contemporary rituals. La muestra reúne portadas\, fotografías\, material gráfico\, prensa y los primeros trabajos de la banda formada por Carlos y Juan Trafford\, Javi Box y Guachy\, cuyo sonido pop-rock con tintes psicodélicos marcó una etapa singular en la música de la isla. \n\n\n\n\n\nLa exposición repasa hitos como su inclusión en una antología de Bam Balam Records —siendo la única banda balear no mallorquina presente— o su selección para el festival International Pop Overthrow de Nueva York. \n\n\n\n\nUn viaje nostálgico para quienes vivieron aquella época y una oportunidad para que nuevas generaciones descubran un capítulo esencial de la historia musical de Ibiza.
