Sven Väth, the soul of techno
A key figure in the European techno movement, Väth is known for his connection with the audience, his championing of vinyl and his extensive sets loaded with musical narrative. His South African debut promises to be a unique experience: a night that begins bathed in gold at sunset and culminates in euphoria as the clock strikes the turn of the year.
International line-up and local talent
The Amnesia New Year’s Eve South Africa lineup completes a diverse lineup with international and local artists that will bring freshness and rhythm to the celebration. Argia, Both Entities, Clint Lee, Dags, Lila Gouws, Los Amigos, Ricardo Da Costa, Sonic Bloom and Talia Zaken will perform in a sonic journey that will fuse the global spirit of techno with South African energy.

Tickets for the opening party are already available on the official website of Amnesia Ibiza. However, a few hours after the announcement, the cheapest tickets (60 and 70 euros) are already sold out and only 75 euros are available. The announcement comes after the recent news that the iconic ‘Paradise’ party, led by DJ Jamie Jones, will not be part of the Amnesia program this year. The club has promised exciting new additions to its Wednesday events, raising expectations among fans.

Since its birth in 2012 at DC10, Paradise was consolidated as a benchmark for electronic music in Ibiza. In 2020, the event took a turn by moving to Amnesia, where it found a new identity without losing its vibrant and enveloping essence. Every Wednesday, the club welcomed thousands of attendees eager to enjoy Jamie Jones’ sets and a handpicked selection of artists. This unexpected announcement marks the end of an era and leaves open the possibility of a new chapter for Paradise. Although its return in another space has not been confirmed, the followers of the party are attentive to any movement that indicates what will be its next destination.
Amnesia promises surprises
Meanwhile, Amnesia has not taken long to ensure that Wednesdays will continue to be an essential date. Without offering too many details, the club has advanced that there will be exciting developments to occupy the space left by Paradise, keeping the expectation of its loyal audience.

]]>Amnesia is ranked number 17 on the list and the organization highlights: «It is a legendary venue that has been part of Ibiza’s clubbing history for decades. Famous for its sunrise terrace and a line-up that keeps people dancing all night long, Amnesia is an institution in electronic music». About Pacha, the Nightlife International Association highlights: «A symbol of Ibiza itself, Pacha is ranked number 11! Known for its famous cherry logo, Pacha has been home to legendary nights since the 1970s. With its beautiful decor and high-profile events, it’s a must-visit club on the island.» It is worth remembering that last year, the club originally founded by the legendary Ricardo Urgell, had managed to rank among the top 10 in the world.
DC-10 Ibiza, among the top 10 clubs in the world
But in addition, one has already been announced in the top 10: DC-10 is ranked number 8.«Known worldwide for its underground atmosphere, this club is a favorite of techno fans and hosts the famous CircoLoco parties (…) which attract a dedicated crowd that values pure, unfiltered musical vibes.» Thus, the three join others from Ibiza among the world’s top 100, which were announced earlier on Wednesday 20: Playa Soleil at 93rd on the list; Nassau Beach Club, at 85th; Lío Ibiza, at 74th; and O Beach at 64th. In addition, DC-10′ s Circoloco party took home the Golden Moon Award for Best Event of 2024.
A Golden Moon Awards 2024 without an on-site event: Leisure in solidarity after the DANA
This year’s Golden Moon Awards Gala was to be held in Valencia, along with the National and International Nightlife Congresses. Following the DANA, Spain Nightlife and the International Nightlife Association decided to cancel the events as a sign of respect. The organizations explained that they would announce today the best clubs, events and Djs in the world through social networks. On the other hand, they promoted a solidarity campaign to help those affected by the DANA, which is still active. Thus, at 8 pm today, the chosen club will be known as the best club in the world. Moments before, the three best clubs and the best DJ of the year will be announced.
