]]>Among the awards is the posthumous tribute to Juan Riera «Aliso», owner of Can Rich, for a lifetime dedicated to local produce and gastronomy, as well as a wide list of awards ranging from traditional cuisine to new openings, historical producers and referents of the insular recipe book.
The main recognition of this edition is the award for a lifetime dedicated to local produce and gastronomy, given posthumously to Juan Riera «Aliso», owner of Can Rich, who recently passed away.
The Academy emphasizes that Juan Riera will always be part of the wine and olive oil history of the island, for his contribution to the development and valorization of these fundamental products of the territory.
The Award for the dish of Ibizan cuisine has fallen this year in the fried squid. With this distinction, the Academy wants to value, for the third consecutive year, both the local product and the traditional Ibizan recipes.
It is a dish that combines one of the star products of the Mediterranean Sea, squid, with potatoes produced in the islands, prepared with extra virgin olive oil from Ibiza and green peppers harvested in the gardens. A recipe that is part of the daily history of the inhabitants of Ibiza over the centuries.
In the category of tradition and product, the award went to the restaurant Camí de Balàfia, for decades offering one of the best charcoal grills on the island, maintaining a firm commitment to the product and the cuisine of roots.
The award for local product has been granted to the Marí Mayans family, in recognition of their production of traditional liqueurs since 1880, a trajectory that is part of the gastronomic and cultural heritage of Ibiza.
The Academy also wanted to recognize the restaurant Ca n’Anneta, noting that it is part of the living history of the island and has become one of the most emblematic establishments of the Ibizan gastronomic scene.
For its part, the traditional restaurant award was given to Celler de Can Pere, which has been offering traditional Ibizan recipes for sixty years, consolidating itself as one of the great references of traditional cuisine.
The award for best beach bar went to Es Xuclar, located in the Portinatx area, for its offer of fresh and quality products.
In the category of Best Chef, the award went to Olivier Pérez, for his work at the Es Mariner restaurant.
The Best Opening of 2025 has been recognized in Noho, located on the beach of Ses Salines, which joins the list of winners of this sixth edition.
The president of the Academy of Gastronomy of Ibiza and Formentera, Pedro Matutes, has highlighted the moment that the island is living in this area: «Ibiza is consolidating as a gastronomic destination in our country. We have great chefs, an offer of recipes from all over the world, an impressive traditional cuisine and a product of great quality,» he said.
Matutes also stressed that gastronomy is an added value to visit the island, recalling that it can be enjoyed during the twelve months of the year, and thanked the work done by producers, restaurateurs and companies in the sector season after season in the constant search for quality.
The awards ceremony announced by the Academy will be held on Friday, May 15, 2026, at the headquarters of the School of Hospitality of the Balearic Islands in Ibiza, in an event that will bring together the protagonists of local gastronomy and the premium sector of the island.

These awards were created to highlight the most inspiring and representative projects carried out on the islands, as well as to highlight the creativity, originality of design and efficient construction solutions that are already defining the future of the sector.
The awards seek to highlight not only aesthetic quality, but also the use of pioneering materials, technical excellence in installations and the ability of professional teams to provide innovative solutions to today’s construction challenges.
Architectural studios, engineering teams, registered architects and engineers, interior designers and multidisciplinary technical teams may participate. As a prerequisite, the projects must have been executed in Ibiza or Formentera and be completed between October 2025 and June 2026.
The Ibiza Supply Awards will recognize proposals in three fundamental areas of the creation and transformation of inhabited space:
Residential housing
Interior design / space design
Hotel project
Each award will include institutional recognition, a plaque and trophy made with Ibizan stone, and a wide media coverage, exhibition at the company’s headquarters and prominent presence in social networks.
The award ceremony, which will take place on September 17, 2026, will include a cocktail reception and a space dedicated to networking among professionals.

All purchases of at least 15 euros made with the Compra en Casa card will be automatically transformed into participations for the drawing of a 70-euro gift card, a measure designed to direct spending towards local businesses on one of the biggest consumption days of the year.
Then, between December 1 and January 6, the «At Christmas, buy at home» campaign will start , a loyalty plan that will reward all purchases made with the card with the chance to win 300, 200 or 100 euros. ]]>For the second consecutive year, the annual awards for the best individual athlete, the best sporting event, best team and the most collaborative person with the sport have been made. The table tennis player Alejandro Tirado, CTT Portmany player, has received the award for best athlete of 2024, after being the first Ibizan to participate in the Paralympic Games, as well as being proclaimed champion of Spain in singles and doubles. In addition to his successes at national and international level, it is a recognition for his example of overcoming and merits of having reached the highest level with his participation in the Games.

The LEB Silver team of Class Bàsquet Sant Antoni has been awarded for the second consecutive year as the best team, while the Vuelta Cicloturista a Ibiza has been recognized as the best sporting event. For her part, the president of CD Es Puig, Marta Serra, has received the award as the most committed and collaborated with the sport thanks to the organization of the Ibiza Trail Marathon. The first special mention of 2024 has received the president of Club Trijasa, Toni Marí Serra, for his sporting career in the municipality, being 32 years judge of duathlon and triathlon, creator of the municipal school of triathlon and organizer of the swim to sa Cova de ses Llagostes, which in this 2025 will be 25 years old. The Premis de l’Esport de Sant Antoni have recognized a total of 96 athletes of the municipality, of which there have been 20 international and 76 national awards, in addition to the four annual awards and special mentions. The 77,768, one of the fourth prizes of the draw, gave 200,000 euros in the Balearic Islands. Most of this prize was concentrated in the neighborhood of Foners, in Palma, where a complete series was sold. However, the prize was widely distributed, with 26 tenths sold in towns such as Sant Antoni, Campos, Can Picafort, Inca, Es Mercadal and Ferreries, among others.
