Recognition for a lifetime of dedication to local produce
The main recognition of this edition is the award for a lifetime dedicated to local produce and gastronomy, given posthumously to Juan Riera «Aliso», owner of Can Rich, who recently passed away.
The Academy emphasizes that Juan Riera will always be part of the wine and olive oil history of the island, for his contribution to the development and valorization of these fundamental products of the territory.
The dish of the Ibicencan cuisine: fried squid
The Award for the dish of Ibizan cuisine has fallen this year in the fried squid. With this distinction, the Academy wants to value, for the third consecutive year, both the local product and the traditional Ibizan recipes.
It is a dish that combines one of the star products of the Mediterranean Sea, squid, with potatoes produced in the islands, prepared with extra virgin olive oil from Ibiza and green peppers harvested in the gardens. A recipe that is part of the daily history of the inhabitants of Ibiza over the centuries.
Tradition and product award
In the category of tradition and product, the award went to the restaurant Camí de Balàfia, for decades offering one of the best charcoal grills on the island, maintaining a firm commitment to the product and the cuisine of roots.
Local produce and historical producers
The award for local product has been granted to the Marí Mayans family, in recognition of their production of traditional liqueurs since 1880, a trajectory that is part of the gastronomic and cultural heritage of Ibiza.
Emblematic restaurants on the island
The Academy also wanted to recognize the restaurant Ca n’Anneta, noting that it is part of the living history of the island and has become one of the most emblematic establishments of the Ibizan gastronomic scene.
For its part, the traditional restaurant award was given to Celler de Can Pere, which has been offering traditional Ibizan recipes for sixty years, consolidating itself as one of the great references of traditional cuisine.
Best beach bar and best chef
The award for best beach bar went to Es Xuclar, located in the Portinatx area, for its offer of fresh and quality products.
In the category of Best Chef, the award went to Olivier Pérez, for his work at the Es Mariner restaurant.
Best gastronomic opening of 2025
The Best Opening of 2025 has been recognized in Noho, located on the beach of Ses Salines, which joins the list of winners of this sixth edition.
Ibiza’s gastronomic diversity, reflected in the award winners
The president of the Academy of Gastronomy of Ibiza and Formentera, Pedro Matutes, has highlighted the moment that the island is living in this area: «Ibiza is consolidating as a gastronomic destination in our country. We have great chefs, an offer of recipes from all over the world, an impressive traditional cuisine and a product of great quality,» he said.
Matutes also stressed that gastronomy is an added value to visit the island, recalling that it can be enjoyed during the twelve months of the year, and thanked the work done by producers, restaurateurs and companies in the sector season after season in the constant search for quality.
The awards ceremony announced by the Academy will be held on Friday, May 15, 2026, at the headquarters of the School of Hospitality of the Balearic Islands in Ibiza, in an event that will bring together the protagonists of local gastronomy and the premium sector of the island.

These awards were created to highlight the most inspiring and representative projects carried out on the islands, as well as to highlight the creativity, originality of design and efficient construction solutions that are already defining the future of the sector.
Recognition of the talent that shapes the islands
The awards seek to highlight not only aesthetic quality, but also the use of pioneering materials, technical excellence in installations and the ability of professional teams to provide innovative solutions to today’s construction challenges.
Architectural studios, engineering teams, registered architects and engineers, interior designers and multidisciplinary technical teams may participate. As a prerequisite, the projects must have been executed in Ibiza or Formentera and be completed between October 2025 and June 2026.
Three categories to reward excellence
The Ibiza Supply Awards will recognize proposals in three fundamental areas of the creation and transformation of inhabited space:

Each award will include institutional recognition, a plaque and trophy made with Ibizan stone, and a wide media coverage, exhibition at the company’s headquarters and prominent presence in social networks.
The award ceremony, which will take place on September 17, 2026, will include a cocktail reception and a space dedicated to networking among professionals.

]]>The first action of the campaign will be Black Friday Formentera, to be held on November 28. All purchases of at least 15 euros made with the Compra en Casa card will be automatically transformed into participations for the drawing of a 70-euro gift card, a measure designed to direct spending towards local businesses on one of the biggest consumption days of the year.
Then, between December 1 and January 6, the «At Christmas, buy at home» campaign will start , a loyalty plan that will reward all purchases made with the card with the chance to win 300, 200 or 100 euros. The aim is to maintain the flow of consumption throughout the Christmas period, reinforce the recurrence of purchases and ensure that spending stays on the island.
In addition, the program incorporates an extraordinary sweepstakes aimed directly at participating establishments. From December 1 to January 31, all registered purchases will be entered into a drawing for four 250-euro cards, to be used exclusively in the stores and supermarkets that have most encouraged their customers to participate.
With this triple activation -Black Friday, Christmas campaign and extraordinary raffle-, Formentera consolidates a model of direct support to local commerce, generating movement in business, boosting the island economy and encouraging a more responsible consumption and linked to the territory. ]]>For the second consecutive year, the annual awards for the best individual athlete, the best sporting event, best team and the most collaborative person with the sport have been made. The table tennis player Alejandro Tirado, CTT Portmany player, has received the award for best athlete of 2024, after being the first Ibizan to participate in the Paralympic Games, as well as being proclaimed champion of Spain in singles and doubles. In addition to his successes at national and international level, it is a recognition for his example of overcoming and merits of having reached the highest level with his participation in the Games.
The LEB Silver team of Class Bàsquet Sant Antoni has been awarded for the second consecutive year as the best team, while the Vuelta Cicloturista a Ibiza has been recognized as the best sporting event. For her part, the president of CD Es Puig, Marta Serra, has received the award as the most committed and collaborated with the sport thanks to the organization of the Ibiza Trail Marathon. The first special mention of 2024 has received the president of Club Trijasa, Toni Marí Serra, for his sporting career in the municipality, being 32 years judge of duathlon and triathlon, creator of the municipal school of triathlon and organizer of the swim to sa Cova de ses Llagostes, which in this 2025 will be 25 years old. They have also received special mention the Sant Antoni Cycling Club, for its 50th anniversary, the outgoing board of the CN Portus, for the growth of the club tripling the number of athletes and achieving important merits in national championships, and the Tandem Fiona, for the outstanding sporting career on the island in the Club Colombófilo Portmany. The mayor of Sant Antoni, Marcos Serra, said that in the Premis de l’Esport «we celebrate the victories, medals and titles won, but also the values that sport embodies as discipline, teamwork and self-improvement to be better every day». «The awards that we present today are a way to publicly recognize the dedication of athletes and sports entities and their positive impact they generate within the portmanyina society. They are an example and a mirror in which the spirit of Sant Antoni is reflected,» stressed the mayor. Serra has also highlighted the work of coaches, families, clubs, sponsors and volunteers, who with their contribution «Sant Antoni is consolidated as a sports reference, where new generations find inspiration and support to achieve their goals.» «From the City Council we will also continue to support sports initiatives and promote the improvement of facilities because we believe that sport is a key piece to build a healthier, more supportive and cohesive municipality.» The event, which was held at the Cine Regio, has had Juanjo Planells, president of the Sant Antoni Cycling Club and organizer of some of the major sporting events in our municipality, positioning Sant Antoni at the top nationally and internationally, as the town’s town crier.
Awards
The Premis de l’Esport de Sant Antoni have recognized a total of 96 athletes of the municipality, of which there have been 20 international and 76 national awards, in addition to the four annual awards and special mentions. One more year the jet ski rider Álex Prats, from Motoclub Eivissa and Formentera, stands out as runner-up of the world and Europe in the Runabout GP4 modality. Aitor Casal, José Gutiérrez and José Serra of the Club Atletismo Sa Raval in the Master category, as well as 14 athletes of the Club Esportiu Dojo Hikari Kyokushi have also obtained international titles in podium position. Regarding the national awards, 76 athletes who have obtained outstanding rankings in Spanish championships, between the first and eighth position, highlighting 30 national champions. Among the awards distributed in the Premis de l’Esport have been represented about 20 clubs in the municipality such as athletics, water sports, table tennis, badminton, motor sports, skating, agility, aesthetic gymnastics, martial arts, swimming, basketball or cycling. During the event, the O Beach Gimnástica Club team, champions of Spain in the first National of the discipline, have offered an exhibition of aesthetic gymnastics.

In addition, this third prize also left its mark in Alcúdia, with two tenths sold that totaled 100,000 euros, and in Ciutadella, with a single tenth that delivered 50,000 euros.
A widely distributed fourth prize
The 77,768, one of the fourth prizes of the draw, gave 200,000 euros in the Balearic Islands. Most of this prize was concentrated in the neighborhood of Foners, in Palma, where a complete series was sold. However, the prize was widely distributed, with 26 tenths sold in towns such as Sant Antoni, Campos, Can Picafort, Inca, Es Mercadal and Ferreries, among others.
Two fifth prizes complete the distribution
The fifth prizes also left their mark on the islands. The number 74,778 awarded 30,000 euros with five tickets sold in Palma, highlighting the administration of Amilcar street, in Arenal. On the other hand, the number 60,622 distributed 240,000 euros between Santa Maria del Camí, where 30 tickets were sold, and Palma, with a complete series sold in the Corte Inglés de Jaime III.
More than one million euros of shared happiness
With 84 winning tenths among the different prizes, the Balearic Islands celebrated an extraordinary draw that has left joy in all the islands. Although the Gordo did not arrive this year, the more than 1.4 million euros distributed are reason enough to toast on these dates.

On the other hand, the fourth prize brought its fortune to Sant Antoni de Portmany, where the winners were able to take 20,000 euros per tenth. This prize was celebrated in other parts of the Balearic Islands, but Ibiza stood out as one of the great protagonists of the draw.

Prizes of less than 2,000 euros can be collected in cash or through Bizum at official Loterías points of sale from the afternoon of December 22. Given that this year the draw was held on a Sunday, it is likely that the collection of the jackpots in the banks will begin on Monday, December 23, except for exceptions due to opening during the weekend.
