]]>As reported by the Armed Forces in a statement, last Sunday agents of the Civil Guard in Santa Eulària who were conducting a checkpoint of vehicles and people on the EI200 in Ibiza stopped a car occupied by two women, who, after being identified, continued the march.
Minutes later, the agents noticed that the flow of vehicles on this road decreased considerably, and observed that several vehicles were taking a country road parallel to the road on which they were conducting the checkpoint.
For this reason, the civil guards verified the existence of a group on Telegram whose alleged purpose is to communicate existing road incidents on the island of Ibiza.
In the message it could be read that at the Santa Eulària traffic circle there was a checkpoint and, therefore, they initiated the relevant steps to find out the identity of the person who had written the message in the group, who turned out to be one of the women who had been identified at the checkpoint minutes before.
Once she was located, she was informed that a report had been filed under the Organic Law 4/2015 of March 30 for the protection of citizen security, specifically in relation to article 36.23 for making unauthorized use of data of members of the Security Forces and Corps, jeopardizing the success of the operation. The penalty ranges from 601 to 30,000 euros.
The Civil Guard has reminded that the dissemination of this type of data relating to the Security Forces and Corps is not permitted and its improper use is punishable by law.

]]>The first campaign, carried out during the last week of November, was aimed at controlling vans, a type of vehicle especially present in the daily traffic of the municipality. During the controls, the agents verified the speed at which the vehicles were circulating, the safety conditions of the load, the documentation of both the driver and the vehicle, as well as the possible driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and the use of seat belts. In total, 29 vans were inspected and five of them were sanctioned: two for positive breathalyzer tests, two for technical deficiencies and one for irregularities in the documentation.
The second campaign focused on school transport and was carried out in collaboration with the Transport inspectors of the Consell Insular d’Eivissa. In this device, 15 vehicles destined to transport minors were checked, verifying their technical condition, safety systems and regulatory documentation. All the vehicles inspected complied with the regulations in force, so no complaint was filed.
