La entrada Andrea Rivi celebrates 20 years of photography with the exhibition «Ibiza Esencial». se publicó primero en La Voz De Ibiza.
]]>The exhibition was inaugurated by Andrea Rivi himself, who wanted to share this significant moment thanking in a special way the support of the City Council of Sant Antoni de Portmany, as well as all the institutions and people who have accompanied his professional evolution throughout these two decades.
During his speech, the photographer reviewed the origin of his vocation through a personal anecdote: an image captured more than twenty years ago on the Havana seafront, a photograph that made him understand that the camera is not only used to freeze moments, but also to convey emotions, contrasts and stories.
Rivi stressed that photography is the result of a combination of intuition, opportunity and preparation, an idea he linked to Seneca’ s well-known reflection on luck and timing. Thus, what began almost by chance was transformed over time into a solid professional path of no return.

The exhibition «Ibiza Esencial» brings together a selection of 20 photographs belonging to different projects developed on the island. Through them, the author proposes a look that puts in value the cultural, patrimonial and natural Ibiza, highlighting especially Eivissa as a destination for family tourism, an area in which Andrea Rivi has worked and in which he has always believed.
«For me it is an honor to be able to communicate the essence of this island and its human and cultural value,» said the photographer, reaffirming his commitment to a vision of Ibiza that is authentic and close, designed for both residents and visitors.
After the inauguration, the evening continued with a performance by the Colla de Ball Pagès de Sant Jordi, which provided the most traditional and emotional component of the event, connecting contemporary photography with the cultural roots of the island.

The musical part was performed by violinist Núria García, whose interpretation enveloped the exhibition in an elegant and sensory atmosphere, putting the finishing touch to a night that celebrated two decades of photography and a deep connection with Ibiza.

]]>This is the second pictorial exhibition organized by the CNSA in this space, after the one held last spring with works by Carlos Genicio, as part of its commitment to bring culture and art to members, residents and visitors. The opening ceremony will include a talk between the artist and the journalist Xescu Prats, in which Bustamante will present the collection, and will end with a Spanish wine.
The germ of ‘Marines’ is set in the summer of 2023, when the Club Náutico Ibiza gave the CNSA a work on the occasion of its 50th anniversary. The piece, a striking aerial view of the Illots de Ponent, made in acrylic and Japanese paper collage on canvas, came out of Diana Bustamante’s studio and surprised the board of Es Nàutic both for its subject matter and its artistic quality.
The work shows sa Conillera in the foreground, with its lighthouse, as well as s’Espartar, es Vedrà, es Vedranell and part of the west coast of Ibiza. From this painting was born the idea of showing it to the public along with other creations of the same theme, giving shape to a monographic exhibition focused on the maritime landscape of the island.
With that in mind, the CNSA has organized an exhibition in which Diana Bustamante presents very representative landscapes of the Ibizan coast and its islets, including some scenes of Sant Antoni. The works share a very personal color palette, with characteristic stains, mixed textures of paper and marble dust and a clearly recognizable style, located halfway between the abstract and the figurative.
The set proposes a contemporary reading of the maritime environment of Ibiza, in which the territory becomes the protagonist from an artistic point of view that connects with both the local public and those who visit the island and wish to discover it from another perspective.
Diana Bustamante, raised in Santa Eulària des Riu, has a degree in Fine Arts from the Complutense University of Madrid. She has a

]]>In Inhabiting the Drift, Fieschi Marí brings together a group of works that are the result of an intimate and sustained process over time, where different facets of her identity as a woman, mother, artisan, freelancer, migrant with Ibizan roots, activist and artist converge. «A few years ago I began a series of works in which I discovered a connection between the materials of my
One of the axes of the exhibition stems from the teaching that her friend and teacher Pia Persia left her: «The true artist builds his work with the materials that life experiences provide him and recognizes himself in his discourse with the same sincerity with which he looks at himself in the mirror». These words, engraved in her memory, deeply mark some pieces where creating, raising and believing form the same plot.
Fieschi Marí considers this project a conscious return to her facet as an artisan, albeit from a different perspective. In her usual work, the workshop functions as an external and productive space; however, on this occasion she developed or finalized all the pieces inside her home. «This difference is essential, because it brings the work home, and it is precisely from that space-and who I am in it-that it feeds,» she says.
The materials she uses bring different meanings: glass, present in her daily creative life; ceramics, linked to a meditative state; wool, fabrics and threads, which connect her with other stages of her life and with her first years of motherhood; and everyday objects, such as windows that become symbolic portals. Each piece tries to sustain the fragility of a day to day life where the plots of life advance without linearity or order, in a spontaneous, lively way and in permanent reconstruction.
The exhibition proposes an identity inquiry that moves from the interior to the environment, reveals layers of the self and opens a look towards a vital movement without a predetermined direction: the drift that we inhabit and that builds, with imperfect beauty, that which we call home.
Born in Buenos Aires in 1985 and graduated in Visual Arts from the National University of the Arts (UNA), Valeria Fieschi Marí has been living in Ibiza since 2011. Her career evolved from painting to a language that combines textiles, ceramics, glass and other materials. Roots, the map as a space-time representation, motherhood and the identity of woman and migrant occupy a central place in her work, also influenced by the memory of an Ibizan grandfather who emigrated to Argentina.
Between 2006 and 2010 he participated in numerous group exhibitions and scenographic projects in Buenos Aires, as well as collaborating with the artist Pia Persia. Already in Ibiza, she worked with Xiringuito Teatre i Comunitat and presented both solo exhibitions -such as Andando, Habitando (Club Diario de Ibiza, 2015)- and group exhibitions, many of them linked to ceramics.
Since 2013 promotes the Mar de Fuego project, where he creates glass pieces with a marked Mediterranean stamp. He currently lives and works in Sant Josep and continues to train and actively participate in artistic and social projects. His work stands out for its versatility and openness to multiple disciplines and concepts, always in dialogue with the present and its socio-cultural context.

Event framed in: Cañas’n’Roll 2025
Can Jordi Blues Station dedicates a week to remember the Ibizan indie scene with the exhibition «Nothing Is Real», a journey through the career of the local band Peter Colours. The exhibition brings together covers, photographs, artwork, press and early works of the band formed by Carlos and Juan Trafford, Javi Box and Guachy, whose pop-rock sound with psychedelic tints marked a unique stage in the music of the island.
The exhibition reviews milestones such as their inclusion in a Bam Balam Records anthology -being the only non-Majorcan Balearic band present- or their selection for the International Pop Overthrow festival in New York.
A nostalgic journey for those who lived through that era and an opportunity for new generations to discover an essential chapter of Ibiza’s musical history.

]]>The event will bring together 45 top-level exhibitors and hundreds of technicians, architects, manufacturers and installers in an environment designed to foster the exchange of knowledge, innovation and human relations.
Unlike a fair open to the public, ExpoPalau is conceived as an exclusively professional meeting, a tribute to the technical channel that drives the energy and construction development of the Balearic Islands.
ExpoPalau was born as a natural evolution of six decades of commitment to the professional. The two-day event will feature technical presentations, panel discussions, product demonstrations and networking spaces, where the history of Palau Services will also take center stage.
The program will include special moments to recognize the trajectory of those who have contributed to building the company’s legacy. «This event is for you,» emphasizes the organization, which seeks to pay tribute to all the professionals who have accompanied the company along the way.
Among the most eagerly awaited talks at ExpoPalau 2025 are top names from the technical, energy and architectural fields:
Xavier Serrano: «The value chain».
Marifé Payer: «The healthy future of architecture».
Lluis Oliva: «Energy and space: how architecture can change the world».
David Berlanga: «Photovoltaic + Green Hydrogen: Energy Vector and Perfect Marriage».
José Vicente Hernández: «Improving water efficiency in distribution networks. Agriculture as a key to close the integral water cycle».
Sergio Álvarez: «Artificial Intelligence Efficiency-Extreme: Putting order in the house to earn more».
These presentations will be complemented by product demonstration spaces and discussion areas that address the major challenges of sustainability, digitalization and efficiency in the sector.
ExpoPalau will thus offer a global vision of the future of energy and construction.
True to its philosophy of proximity, Palau Services has designed a system of arranged meetings that will allow attendees to optimize their time and create professional connections in a relaxed and human atmosphere.
In the words of the organization, «personal relationships are as important as technology», and ExpoPalau seeks precisely to balance both values: technical innovation and human bonding.
ExpoPalau 2025 not only celebrates the past, but also looks to the future of distribution as a driver of innovation. Ibiza, with its talent, entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to sustainability, has become the ideal setting for writing this new chapter in the history of Palau Services.
The meeting promises to consolidate itself as a benchmark event for energy and construction professionals, reinforcing the island’s role as a meeting point for ideas and progress.
