UD Ibiza defeated FC Cartagena 1-4 at the Cartagonova stadium, in the 19th round of Primera RFEF (Group 2), and closed the first round with three points that allow them to get out of the relegation zone and strengthen the confidence of Miguel Álvarez’s team. Not only because of the win, but also because the Ibizan team showed their best performance of the season.

Davo at the helm

Ibiza found an early prize. Davo opened the scoring in an early match in which the celestial settled with continuity in the opponent’s field and punished the defensive doubts of Cartagena.

The local team reacted and managed to equalize through Ortuño, but the visitor’s response was immediate: another strike by Davo, again after insisting in the area, gave Ibiza the lead back before the break (1-2).

The score could have been much higher at the end of the first half, had it not been for the interventions of goalkeeper Iván Martínez or the lack of accuracy in the final meters.

Second part to believe

After the restart, the script did not change: Ibiza kept control and, with space, was more damaging. Fran Castillo widened the gap culminating an attacking action that left the game on track.

With Cartagena already against the tide, one of the novelties of this stretch of the season appeared. Svensson, a debutant, forced a penalty and converted it to close the scoring and sign a victory that, in addition to the result, left a competitive image from start to finish (1-4).

UD Ibiza finished with ten players after José Albert was sent off almost at the end of the game for a double caution.

Turning point?

The victory in Cartagena places UD Ibiza 14th with 23 points after 19 rounds, already out of the red zone, in a classification led by Sabadell (35) ahead of Atlético Madrileño (34).

With the second half of the season ahead of them, the immediate challenge for the Celestes will be to turn this goal into a line of continuity, just when the winter market enters a key moment to adjust the squad: the club has already made several departures official at the beginning of January.

UD Ibiza has confirmed the departure of four players from the first team at the beginning of the winter market, a move that opens a new phase in the configuration of the team for the second part of the season in the Primera Federación. The club has officially announced that Álex Gallar, Fede Vico, Josep Señé and goalkeeper Javier Belman are no longer part of the squad, according to the club in a statement.

The decision comes at a key moment of the season, with the competition entering its decisive stage and the need to adjust the squad to the demands of the championship. The club has opted to make these changes with the aim of reorganizing the squad and freeing up personnel in view of the upcoming movements in the market.

The announcement comes after a defeat against Eldense at Can Misses, which has left the Ibizan team with the relegation zone ever closer.

The profile of departing players

Álex Gallar, a winger with experience in professional soccer, arrived at UD Ibiza in 2023 and has been one of the players with the greatest offensive run of the team in recent seasons. His departure puts an end to a period marked by his regular participation in the attacking front, both as a starter and from the bench.

Fede Vico, an attacking midfielder with a career in the Second Division and in different national soccer clubs, leaves Ibiza after a period in which he failed to establish himself continuously in the eleven. The player brought experience and versatility to the midfield.

Josep Señé, who joined the club last summer, leaves the club after several months in the Celeste discipline. The midfielder had previous experience in the category and in higher divisions, and his departure is part of the midfield reorganization.

Javier Belman, goalkeeper trained in the Real Madrid youth academy, also closes his stage in Can Misses. The goalkeeper had played a leading role last season, although his participation had been more limited this season.

The entity has thanked the players for their work and professionalism during their time at the club, wishing them luck in their next sporting projects. UD Ibiza continues its planning, with the focus on improving its competitive performance in the coming days.

The change of the year has not brought new airs to the UD IbizaUD Ibiza has started 2026 as it ended 2025: without a win and showing the same deficiencies that keep it sunk in the standings.

The 0-1 defeat against Eldense at Can Misses leaves the team in a delicate situation, with the relegation zone ever closer and with no clear signs of improvement, neither in the game nor in the results.

Eldense, who had not won away from home this season, took all three points effectively, punishing the home side’s lack of punch and concentration.

No goal and no reaction

The mistakes repeated throughout the campaign once again took their toll on the Celestes: lack of effectiveness in the opponent’s area, defensive lapses in specific actions, and a flat soccer without spark. Despite having more possession, the Ibizan team hardly generated danger and showed a worrying lack of ideas to unbalance the rival.

The clearest chance of the match for the locals came shortly after the start, when Davo was alone in front of the visiting goalkeeper, Ramón Vila, but his shot was saved with a saving intervention.

Shortly after, Eldense scored in their only clear arrival of the first half: a combination between Fidel and Ibarrondo on the right flank and a back pass for Bellari to score at pleasure. The contrast of effectiveness in the areas was reflected in the scoreboard.

Changes without effect and predictable play

At the restart, UD Ibiza kept possession, but without generating real danger. Coach Miguel Álvarez opted for Del Olmo as an organizer, Manu Pedre in the back line and a double forward with Davo and Sofiane, but the proposal had no effect.

Del Olmo tried to give more clarity to the ball, although he almost made a serious mistake in a transfer that Monju saved under the posts.

The changes came late -four substitutions in the last quarter of an hour- and did not change the direction of a team without offensive solutions. Just a few balls into the area and a final attempt at a set piece in which Ramón Juan, the local goalkeeper, went up for a shot, generated some uncertainty. However, the action was disallowed for offside.

Next target: Cartagena

With this new defeat, UD Ibiza continues without breaking its bad dynamic. The fans are beginning to lose patience, while the club hopes that the winter market will bring reinforcements to revive a project that, for the moment, does not work.

The next league match will be on January 11 against FC Cartagena, a match in which the Celestes are obliged to score points to avoid sinking even further in the table.

The UD Ibiza was held to a goalless draw this Sunday at the Palladium Can Misses stadium against Villarreal B, in a match corresponding to the 16th round of the First Federation. However, the result was the least important for Miguel Álvarez, coach of the light blue team, who appeared before the media visibly upset by the team’s image during the first half.

«The first half we played was unworthy. I feel bad for the club, for the people at the club, for the fans, for the whole UD family, because they don’t deserve that half. I have been ashamed on the bench, this is unbearable«, the coach stated forcefully in the press room.

Álvarez’s analysis was direct and straightforward. The coach thanked the fans for their «patience» and acknowledged that, without the fans’ encouragement, the team would have been defeated.

«If it weren’t for them, we would lose this game,» he said.

During halftime, the talk in the locker room was, as he admitted, «intense,» although he avoided offering details. «The coach and nine players could have been changed, the coach first, eh,» he confessed.

«We lack soccer.»

The coach regretted that mistakes continue to appear despite the previous preparation: «We work well, we prepare for the games, but we are covering up cracks, one side shows up another, and we have to solve that».

Alvarez was particularly disappointed by the team’s weak performance without the ball, an aspect that, he claims, had been improved in previous weeks. «We need to be a more balanced team,» he said.

Despite the lack of goals, the team had a few chances, such as a shot against the post by Davo and another clear action by Bebé. But the poor start of the game and the lack of accuracy marked the development of the match.

«We lack soccer, but we have to analyze what is happening, because it is not because of work, we have to value what it is, but the first half has been undignified by all of us, we have to analyze what is happening,» he insisted.

Next appointment, Alcorcón

The draw leaves UD Ibiza with one more point in the standings, waiting to close the year on December 21 against Alcorcón at the Municipal Santo Domingo stadium.

The team has yet to achieve a clear victory that would endorse the work of the coaching staff and restore the confidence of the fans, who do not hide their disappointment.

La entrada UD Ibiza no longer remembers what it means to win: again a goalless draw against Sanluqueño se publicó primero en La Voz De Ibiza.

]]>
The UD Ibiza again remained without celebrating a victory and without scoring a goal. This Sunday, the light blue team signed a new goalless draw (0-0) against Atlético Sanluqueño, in a match corresponding to the First Federation played away.

Despite the improvement in play and attitude, the team continues to fail to convert its chances and has now gone five games without a win, including the Cup defeat.

Since the arrival of coach Miguel Álvarez, Ibiza has not been able to make it three out of three. Under his guidance, the results still do not reflect the tactical evolution experienced by the team, which has yet to win or score a single goal.

No aim, no prize

In Sanluqueño’s field, UD Ibiza showed a more organized, dominant and ambitious version. The team played in the opponent’s field for a good part of the match, generated chances and kept control, but once again showed its big problem: the lack of goal.

Strikers Sofiane and Davo missed clear chances. In the most notable chance of the first half, Sofiane shot wide with everything to play for after a measured cross from Davo. Ernesto, with a header, and Davo himself, with a weak shot, also had unsuccessful attempts.

In the second half, the tone did not change. UD Ibiza maintained their dominance, with a great deployment of Del Pozo in midfield, and continued to accumulate chances. Davo had another clear opportunity after a previous mistake by Sofiane, but his shot into an empty goal did not find the target.

Even Sofiane came close to scoring again, as did central defender Nacho and Fede Vico in the final minutes, but neither could beat the home goalkeeper. The only action that ended in the net, a goal by Sofiane, was disallowed for a close offside. The television images did not help to clarify whether the decision was correct.

Improvement without reward

The starting eleven presented by Miguel Álvarez included Bebé, who, despite his attempts, had little impact in one-on-one situations.

The Celeste coach again opted for a two strikers and double pivot system, with Davo and Sofiane in attack, accompanied by Del Pozo and David García in midfield.

Although Sanluqueño hardly troubled the Ibizan area except in a couple of final actions, the Andalusian team used constant tactical fouls that interrupted the rhythm of the game and frustrated Ibiza’s attempts to string together continuous attacks.

Five games without a win

With this new draw, UD Ibiza now has five consecutive matches without a win, including elimination from the Copa del Rey.

But even more worrying is that, under the management of Miguel Álvarez, the team has only been able to score one goal in the 1-1 draw in the cup duel, which ended in elimination on penalties.

On Sunday, there was a real rain of goals in Can Misses. After a great game full of emotions, the UD Ibiza won by 5 to 3 against Antequera in the framework of the 23rd date of the First RFEF.

The Ibizans received the leader of the classification with the illusion of being able to keep the victory at home, however, they knew that it was not going to be easy.

A light blue first half

UD Ibiza soon showed that they were determined to win the match, as in the first minute of play Álex Gallar scored the first goal to put the Ibizan team ahead.

From that moment on, UD Ibiza was much better than their opponent, dominating in all aspects and showing that they were ready for more.

Following this, Indias at 20, Mo Dauda at 27 and Eric Monjonell at 32 scored a string of goals to surprise the entire crowd and bring joy.

After this hard blow, and with a result totally against, Antequera began to react and in the 38th minute came to discount the hand of Luismi Luengo.

In stoppage time, Luengo took another shot at goal, this time the ball hit Iago Indias, who could not prevent the ball from going into his own goal and the game became 4-2.

However, there was time for more, and in the 49th minute, Roberto Olave made it 5-2 and they went to the break.

A calmer second half

After the break, UD Ibiza went into a more defensive mode, knowing that the advantage was large, the Ibizan players regulated their energies and tried to keep the result.

On the other hand, the visitors tried and tried in many ways, until Longo scored at 81 minutes to put his team 5-3.

However, there was no time for anything else and the locals took the victory by a solid 5 to 3.

Next match and classification

With this victory, the Ibizan team moves up to third place in the standings and will face Betis in the next matchday.

La SD Ibiza achieved a long awaited and much needed victory this Sunday against CE Sabadell by 1-0, in the framework of the 20th day of the Second RFEF, which moves them away from the relegation places. The Ibizans were coming from a very tough crisis in terms of results. The last victory had been in November against Valencia and then they had lost in four and drawn in the other three matches they had played since then. This Sunday, the Ibizans were facing a tough opponent, as Sabadell was at the top of the standings.

Red first half

From the first minutes of the match, SD Ibiza came out determined to win the game, with a lot of rhythm and taking possession of the ball from the start. The visitors did not lag behind and at times it was a match of equals, where both had their moments. However, SD Ibiza was the one that generated more danger in the opponent’s goal and that allowed them to reach the goal. At 35 minutes, Simón Lecea gives a great assist to Mario Riquelme, who sends the ball into the back of the net, so that SD Ibiza goes to the break with victory.

Second half even

After the break, the match became much more even, with Sabadell starting to raise its level and coming more clearly. At 62 minutes, Frías saved the home goal, while at 69 minutes, the referee decided to disallow a goal to the visitors. After these two scares, SD Ibiza decided to stand firm in defense, keeping the result and taking the victory by 1-0.

Next match and classification

With this victory, the Ibizan team reaches the 12th position and leaves the red zone. In the next matchday, they will be visiting UE Olot.

At noon this Sunday, UD Ibiza has achieved a great victory against Villarreal B as a visitor by 2 to 1, in the framework of the 22nd day of the First RFEF. After cutting the bad streak the previous weekend, the Ibizan wanted to continue on the path of victory, this time facing a tough opponent as Villarreal B.

First half with no goals

From the first minutes of the match, UD Ibiza showed a much better level than their opponent and dominated in all aspects. This momentum of the Ibizan team allowed them to have several dangerous arrivals to the opponent’s goal, giving a lot of work to the local defense. Despite having the possession, towards the end, the Ibizan team got careless and Villarreal tried to surprise, although without much effectiveness, ending the first half without goals in any goal.

Second half of great sky-blue level

From the moment they returned from the break, the Ibizans came out determined to take the game and their goal was achieved. On 63 minutes, Mo Dauda, who came for this, sent the ball into the back of the net, putting the Ibizans ahead. At 79 minutes, Zarzana took advantage of a dangerous ball and put the Ibizans ahead again, making it 2-0. Despite the happiness of the Ibizans, the last minutes were complicated, since at 85 minutes Guillem was sent off and at 93 minutes came the discount of the local team. However, there was no time for anything else and the Ibizans returned to the island with the three points under their arms.

Next match and classification

With this result, UD Ibiza climbs to fourth place in the standings and will be hosting Antequera CF on the next matchday.

On Sunday, the UD Ibiza UD Ibiza has managed to return to smile after winning with great authority to AD Merida by 3 to 0 in the framework of the 21st date of the First RFEF. UD Ibiza came to this match with the need to find the victory and was able to do so with ease.

Celestial renaissance: a devastating first half

The Ibizan team started the match with a renewed approach, including the bet on Mo Dauda as center forward and the return of Ramón Juan to the goal. The gamble paid off quickly, as López-Pinto opened the scoring in the 11th minute with a stunning goal from outside the area, demonstrating his quality and leaving the rival goalkeeper with no options. Despite some isolated attempts by Mérida, UD Ibiza dominated the first half, consolidating their lead in the 40th minute with a goal by Astals after a precise assist by Álex Gallar. The Celeste’s effectiveness made the difference, leaving the home side with a clear advantage before the break.

Second half: intensity and judgment

UD Ibiza did not slow down after the break and continued to generate danger. A penalty in favor could have extended the lead, but Álex Gallar failed to convert from 11 meters. However, the team did not crumble and, in the 71st minute, Mo Dauda sealed thematch with a spectacular goal, crowning an outstanding performance in his new position as center forward. Mérida, unable to respond, were outplayed in every facet of the game, while the home side could have extended their lead even further with clear-cut chances in the closing stages.

The UD Ibiza continues without finding the way to victory in this 2025 after losing 1-0 against Alcoyano at El Collao, in the framework of the 20th date of the Primera RFEF. A goal by Andrés Rodríguez in the first half was enough for the locals to take the three points in a match in which the sky-blues showed moments of improvement, but without the necessary precision to make their chances come true.

Alcoyano imposes its rhythm in the first half

The home team started the match dominating the pace and forcing Ibiza to maintain their defensive concentration. Although Alcoyano did not generate clear chances at the beginning, they were able to take advantage of one of their most dangerous approaches.

. En el minuto 36, Andrés Rodríguez sorprendió con un disparo que venció al guardameta Germán Belman, poniendo el 1-0 en el marcador.

Ibiza’s response was immediate with tactical adjustments, but they failed to even the score before halftime.

Dominance without reward in the second half

Ibiza came out with a different attitude in the second half, showing greater intensity and ball control. Gallar led several offensive attempts, including a free kick that went near the post.

Despite the changes introduced by Paco Jémez to reinforce the attack, the arrivals did not translate into goals.

The clearest chance came in the last minutes, with a powerful shot by Marc Domènech that goalkeeper Jaume Valens deflected with a great save. On the rebound, Gallar crashed the ball against the post, getting very close to the equalizer.

An immediate challenge at Can Misses

With this new defeat, UD Ibiza remains without points at the beginning of the year and faces an important test in its next match against AD Merida. The match, to be played on Sunday, January 26 at the Palladium Can Misses, will be key to regain confidence and get out of the current bad streak.

UD Ibiza has announced this Tuesday the arrival of Gregorio Gori Gracia Sánchez, a 22-year-old midfielder, as a new reinforcement to face the second half of the season. The player arrives on loan from Real Zaragoza until the end of the campaign, in an operation that seeks to give more solidity to the Ibizan midfield.

A midfielder with a background in elite teams

Gori Gracia, born in Arenys de Munt (Barcelona) in 2002, was formed in the youth ranks of RCD Espanyol, where he made his debut with the first team during the 2021/2022 season. His progression took him to Real Zaragoza, team that incorporated him to their squad in the summer of 2024. In addition, he has been called up on several occasions by the U-18 Spanish National Team, standing out as a promising player in his position.

A strategic reinforcement for UD Ibiza

Gori’ s arrival responds to the team’s need to reinforce its squad in a decisive stretch of the Second RFEF. With his incorporation, coach Paco Jémez seeks to gain consistency in midfield and cover the tactical demands of a team that aspires to fight for privileged positions in the standings. UD Ibiza, which maintains its activity in the transfer market, hopes that this reinforcement will contribute to improve results in the second round of the competition. The UD Ibiza has presented its second reinforcement of the winter market. This is José Albert Andrés, 21-year-old left back, who arrives on loan from CD Castellón until the end of the season. This addition seeks to strengthen the team’s backline in the face of the intense second half of the Primera RFEF.

Promising trajectory

Formed in the youth categories of the Albinegro club, José Albert has proven to be a solid bet for the future. During this season, the young player has had the opportunity to play two Copa del Rey matches with Castellón’s first team, showing his worth in high-level competitions.

With an outstanding ability as a left-sided player and his experience at left-back, José Albert promises to bring solidity and freshness to UD Ibiza’s tactical scheme.

Strategic reinforcements for promotion

The arrival of José Albert joins the recent signing of Javier López-Pinto, announced last week. With these additions, the team led by Lucas Alcaraz seeks to reinforce its lines to improve its position in the table, where it currently occupies ninth place. UD Ibiza has a clear objective: to start this second stage with a firm step and consolidate its fight for promotion. This Sunday will be key to measure the team’s aspirations, when they face Real Club Recreativo de Huelva at the Can Misses stadium, starting at 12:00 noon, as part of the 19th matchday.

A challenge with an eye to the future

The addition of José Albert not only strengthens the Celeste defense, but also reflects the club’s commitment to the development of young talent that can contribute to the project in the long term. With the arrival of the left back, UD Ibiza continues to bet on a balanced team, ready to face the challenges of this second part of the season. The sky-blue fans, as always, will be key on the road to success.

UD Ibiza has accumulated this Sunday its third defeat in series and begins to look at the positions of the lower zone with some concern. It is that the momentum for the change of coach stopped too quickly.

Paco Jeméz has made a harsh analysis after yesterday’s loss to Algeciras at the Palladium Can Misses stadium . «This team has talent. In theory yes, for players yes. But not in practice. We are all showing that we are worse than we really are,» said the coach. In addition, after the 1-0 defeat against Algeciras in the 17th round of the First RFEF, he said that «now we have to swallow shit. I have the feeling that we are a little unhinged». In the press conference he also said that «it’s no longer about winning or losing, which is important. It’s about what the team is capable of doing on the field.» «Any analysis that is made has to be printed with self-criticism. We’re not going anywhere like this, it’s a team that so far trains better than it competes,» he added. In this sense, he took responsibility «for what is happening, we have not found the right path and the only thing left now is to change».

Next match and classification

With this defeat, UD Ibiza falls to 12th place in the standings with 22 points (six wins, four draws and seven defeats) and will be visiting Alcorcón on the next matchday.

On Sunday, the UD Ibiza UD Ibiza suffered a tough defeat at home against Algeciras by 1-0 in the framework of the 17th day of the First RFEF. After a winning streak with the arrival of the new coach, for several games UD Ibiza has been falling down again and Algeciras took advantage of this moment. The first half began with UD Ibiza much more active than their opponent, showing a better game and gaining possession of the ball. As the minutes went by, the Ibizans kept up the pace, pressed with the possession of the ball and generated danger with many lateral crosses into the area. Algecira did not lag behind, defended well and kept a clean sheet.

Although it was an entertaining game, they could not make a difference on the scoreboard and went to the halftime break with a scoreless score. The second half began with parity in the game, both teams went out looking for the victory and showed a very high pace. At 51 minutes, the visiting team showed a better effectiveness than UD Ibiza and managed to take the lead through Escudero. From that moment on, the visitors took refuge in their defense, closing down and preventing UD Ibiza from scoring. The Ibizans could not do anything else and added their third consecutive defeat, dropping down the standings.

The UD Ibiza suffered a painful defeat this Sunday in their visit to the Alfonso Murube Stadium, where they were beaten by Ceuta with a score of 3-1. The Celestial team, which began dominating the game and took the lead with a great goal by Gallar, failed to sustain the pace in the second half and saw how the Ceutíes came back in the last minutes.

Initial dominance without reward

UD Ibiza showed their best version at the start of the match, monopolizing possession and generating several dangerous chances. Players like Mo Dauda and Astals led the offensive actions, but they came up against an inspired Pedro López, who kept his goal safe in the early stages of the match. The Ibizan team’s insistence paid off in the 36th minute, when Gallar surprised with a masterful free kick that hit the post before entering the goal, putting the 0-1 on the scoreboard. However, the joy was short-lived, as just a few minutes later Ceuta equalized with a great finish by Aquino after a pass behind the back of the defense.

The blow in the second half

After the break, Ceuta came out more intense and began to make Ibiza’s defensive work more difficult. Despite the efforts of Belman, who made several key saves, the locals found the comeback goal in the 85th minute, when Carlos scored after an impeccable control and a powerful shot to the top corner. With Ibiza looking for the equalizer, Ceuta sealed the match in the last minutes with a goal by Rodri Ríos, who finished off a low cross from the right flank, leaving the visiting team with no options.

A match to reflect on

The defeat leaves UD Ibiza with two consecutive defeats, a hard blow for a team that seeks to remain competitive in the category. The coach, Paco Jémez, will have to work on reversing this negative dynamic for the next game, the last of the year, which will be at home against Algeciras CF on Sunday at 3:30 pm at the Palladium Can Misses.

On Saturday night, the UD Ibiza UD Ibiza defeated Sevilla Atlético by 1-0 in the framework of the 14th day of the Primera RFEF. The team coached by Jeméz came from showing another face in the first match of the coach on the bench and now they wanted to repeat it. From the start, UD Ibiza showed solidity and control in their game, although it was Sevilla Atlético the first to approach the area of debutant Belman, who responded safely. Jémez’s team began to generate danger on the left flank thanks to an active Javi Jiménez, who made several runs. The clearest chance came in the 30th minute, when a defensive error by Sevilla left Naranjo with a free ball in the small area, although his shot did not find the net. The most exciting moment of the first half came just before the break. In a lethal counter from Sevilla Atlético, Belman made a spectacular double save, first with his leg and then with a saving hand, preventing the goal and keeping the score at 0-0. An intervention that will undoubtedly be remembered as one of the best of the season. The second half maintained the intensity, with both teams looking for the goal. The Ibizan dominated the game, trying to overcome rival lines with elaborate combinations and dangerous crosses. However, it was not until the 70th minute when the reward came: after a corner, Gallar put a perfect cross to the far post that Escassi headed into the back of the net, unleashing joy in the Celeste bench. The goal did not change Ibiza’s approach, who continued looking to extend the lead. Lass and Mo Dauda came on to freshen up the attack, while Unai Medina and Monjonell reinforced the defense in the final minutes. Sevilla Atlético tried to react, but the Ibicencos controlled the closing stages of the match, securing a valuable victory that brings them closer to their goals in the Primera RFEF.

Next match and classification

With this second consecutive victory, UD Ibiza is positioned in third place and faces in a better way its next challenge at home against Real Murcia. The match will be played on Saturday, November 30 at 15:30 at the Palladium Can Misses stadium, where the light blue team will seek to extend its positive streak and consolidate its position in the competition.

UD Ibiza has returned to winning ways after beating Marbella in a match that marked the debut of Paco Jémez as the team’s coach in the 13th round of the Primera RFEF. With a 2-0 lead, the Celestes showed an improvement in their game, supported by a solid performance both in defense and attack. The match started with intensity on the part of Ibiza, which soon generated danger. It was in the 12th minute when Quique took advantage of a precise cross from Javi Jiménez to score the first goal of the match, a goal that reflected the home team’s initial dominance. After the goal, Ibiza kept control of the game, standing out for their constant pressure and tactical order. Although the clear chances were reduced as the minutes passed, the team showed solidity and confidence in their approach. In the second half, Ibiza continued to generate opportunities, although without success in the final meters. The changes introduced by Jémez, such as the return of Mo Dauda after his injury, brought freshness to the team in attack. On Sunday, the 12th date of the First RFEF has been played. As visitors, UD Ibiza could not against Antequera and fell by 2-0.

UD Ibiza came to this match with many needs, the Ibizan players were coming from a tough winless streak and urgently needed the victory, however, again mistakes and bad approaches, in addition to the opponent’s game, made them lose.

The match started with a very even game, both teams had chances to reach the opponent’s goal and the defenses had a very difficult job.

However, as the minutes went by, the home side began to take more of the initiative and UD Ibiza slowed down the pace.

This good moment for the hosts paid off when they scored a goal, although Escassi was the one who put the ball in the goal, making it 1-0, with which they went to the break.

At the start of the second half, the Ibizans started much better, arriving with more people in the opponent’s territory and trying to impose their game.

Despite this, they could not be effective and failed to score a goal. For their part, Antequera took advantage of an opportunity through Carrión to make it 2-0 in the 56th minute.

From that moment, UD Ibiza tried in many ways to reach the goal, but failed to do so, leaving the victory in the hands of Antequera and extending its crisis.
