La entrada The Invisa hotel chain adds a new resort in Ibiza: it redoubles its commitment to family tourism se publicó primero en La Voz De Ibiza.
]]>This is the Invisa Hotel Casa Luis, a four-star facility that combines hotel and tourist apartments under the same proposal, as it also integrates Casa Luis by Invisa Apartments, which offers a more versatile accommodation alternative for groups and families.
The new tourist complex, already operational as confirmed by the hotel chain itself on its website, offers studios and apartments for up to six people, in an environment designed for family tourism.

Invisa has presented the new addition as a space that allows «the whole family to enjoy an unforgettable vacation together in Ibiza».
Located in one of the most peaceful surroundings of the municipality, the Invisa Hotel Casa Luis is located in Santa Eulària, just a few minutes from the promenade and the beach. As the hotel chain itself details on its website, the establishment seeks to offer «an unparalleled vacation experience» to those who value calm, nature and access to local points of interest, with a full-service approach and family atmosphere.
The hotel shares spacious facilities with the apartment area and offers the usual services of a four-star hotel: restaurant, common areas, swimming pools and personalized attention.

The incorporation of this complex in Santa Eulària is part of the local expansion process of the Invisa group, which reinforces its presence in the Ibizan tourist market, betting on consolidating its presence on the island through new openings and acquisitions of large facilities that allow it to cater to a family and multigenerational visitor profile.
In total, Invisa already owns nine tourist options on the island: Es Figueral Beach, Invisa Figueral Resort, Invisa Hotel Club Cala Verde, Invisa Hotel Club Cala Blanca in Vila; Invisa Hotel La Cala, Invisa Hotel Casa Luis, Apartamento Casa Luis by Invisa in Santa Eulària; Invisa Hotel Es Pla in Sant Antoni; and Invisa Hotel Ereso in es Canar Beach.
On its website, it remarks that «at Invisa Hotels we offer you the perfect accommodation for your vacations in Ibiza, from our hotels in one of the most popular party areas of Ibiza, San Antonio, to family hotels in Playa d’Es Figueral and Playa Es Canar. We also offer you hotels where you can enjoy a vacation with your partner or friends in Playa de Santa Eulalia».
Invisa also maintains a presence in Madrid (Ac Carlton) and Barcelona (Ac Som).
One of the latest works of Invisa Hotels has been the complete refurbishment of the Hotel Es Pla de Sant Antoni, as part of a repositioning strategy in the accommodation market as adult only.
Thus, it became a four-star hotel in order to attract a more international clientele and improve the quality of the tourist product in the area.
Compared to last year, when the three in Santa Eulària were available, there is only one hotel in the Imerso senior travel program: Invisa Figueral Resort.

]]>As reported by the Armed Forces in a statement, last Sunday agents of the Civil Guard in Santa Eulària who were conducting a checkpoint of vehicles and people on the EI200 in Ibiza stopped a car occupied by two women, who, after being identified, continued the march.
Minutes later, the agents noticed that the flow of vehicles on this road decreased considerably, and observed that several vehicles were taking a country road parallel to the road on which they were conducting the checkpoint.
For this reason, the civil guards verified the existence of a group on Telegram whose alleged purpose is to communicate existing road incidents on the island of Ibiza.
In the message it could be read that at the Santa Eulària traffic circle there was a checkpoint and, therefore, they initiated the relevant steps to find out the identity of the person who had written the message in the group, who turned out to be one of the women who had been identified at the checkpoint minutes before.
Once she was located, she was informed that a report had been filed under the Organic Law 4/2015 of March 30 for the protection of citizen security, specifically in relation to article 36.23 for making unauthorized use of data of members of the Security Forces and Corps, jeopardizing the success of the operation. The penalty ranges from 601 to 30,000 euros.
The Civil Guard has reminded that the dissemination of this type of data relating to the Security Forces and Corps is not permitted and its improper use is punishable by law.

]]>As reported by the Armed Forces on Monday, a week ago a patrol moved to a squat in Calle del Mar in the town of Santa Eulària after being required by an altercation inside.
Once at the door they heard cries for help, so they entered the house and inside they surprised an individual who was carrying in his hands a piece of a door frame with which he threatened the agents with the intention of assaulting them. After urging him to stop his attitude and refusing to do so, he was reduced by the civil guards.
Once the situation was under control, they verified that the house showed numerous damages and interviewed two more male residents of the house, who stated that the other individual, in a very altered and aggressive state, had smashed the bedroom door with a large knife while they were sleeping, making a large hole through which he had tried to attack them, while threatening to kill them.
In addition, once they managed to snatch the knife, the man sprayed them with a can of acid and told them that he would burn them alive. For all these reasons, and after verifying the damage done and locating the knife, the agents proceeded to arrest the 31 year-old man of North African origin, who has a number of previous convictions for different acts.

]]>The incident took place at around 00.30 hours, when the assailant, who was riding a 49cc motorcycle in the opposite direction on Margarita Ankermann Street, began an escalation of violence without provocation, according to witnesses.
The first incident occurred when the motorcyclist kicked the door of a vehicle that was parked near the shoe shop behind the Town Hall. He then fled down Church Street, also in a prohibited direction.
The Local Police were alerted, but the man returned on foot minutes later from the gym and SOIB area, carrying a screwdriver of about 50 centimeters and a pair of pruning shears.
«Are you going with them?» he rebuked one of the youths before lunging at his vehicle with the screwdriver. He hit the driver’s window with force, managing to fracture the glass without breaking it completely. The group of friends managed to flee in a hurry.
In their escape, the youths observed how the aggressor continued to attack other vehicles. One of the drivers was assaulted as he got out of the car and suffered a broken nose. He was taken by an 061 ambulance to Can Misses hospital.
Finally, the Local Police arrested the suspect in Sant Josep street, at the back of the Town Hall. When identified, the individual was still carrying the gardening tools and, according to City Hall sources, claimed to be a gardener and to have been previously assaulted. He presented facial injuries and was also taken to the hospital, apparently under the influence of alcohol or some intoxicating substance.
The young people who experienced a night of terror complained about the lack of security, surveillance and lighting in that area of the town of Santa Eulària at that time of night.
The Consistory confirmed that they received notice of the incident after midnight, and that the patrol was able to intervene quickly after the incident.

]]>The videomapping combines images and animations designed to fit perfectly with the architectural forms of the building. The result is a visual game that generates a sensation of movement and depth, enveloping the viewer in a fully Christmas atmosphere.
The projection uses the audiovisual mapping technique, which transforms physical surfaces – such as buildings, monuments or urban spaces – into dynamic screens. This technology, common in artistic, corporate or advertising events, stands out for offering immersive experiences capable of surprising both local audiences and visitors.
The City Council has organized several sessions distributed in three batches:
December 11, 12 and 13
December 18, 19 and 20
Last days of the month, before New Year’s Eve, as the last opportunity to witness the spectacle.
Each of these days will offer videomapping continuously within the established schedule, allowing residents and tourists to choose the most convenient time to come and enjoy this visual attraction.
With initiatives like this, Santa Eulària des Riu consolidates its commitment to Christmas activities that combine tradition and innovation. The videomapping not only brings a festive touch to the center of the municipality, but also becomes a point of interest for those who visit the island during these dates.
The facade of the town hall is thus transformed into a stage of light and creativity, inviting you to experience Christmas from a different and technological perspective. A must for those who want to immerse themselves in the Christmas atmosphere of Santa Eulària.

]]>The confrontation, which took place in a house in the town center of the municipality, left one of them on the verge of death after receiving several stab wounds.
Both were brought before a judge after the incident, but since they did not file a complaint against each other, the judge ordered their release.
The most seriously injured is a 42-year-old man of Italian nationality, who was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the Can Misses Hospital with multiple stab wounds.
Last Sunday night, the patient requested voluntary discharge, which was formalized at 23.30 hours. Shortly afterwards, he was transferred to the judicial headquarters, where he was released after making a statement.
The second participant in the fight is a 74-year-old Spanish man, who also suffered injuries during the brawl. According to police sources, he received several stitches in his head as a result of a blow with a blunt object.
Both parties involved, who were already known to the Guardia Civil due to a previous history, had opted not to prosecute the conflict and to resolve their differences on their own. For this reason, the judge did not take additional measures after their appearance.

]]>The discharge was formalized at 23.30 hours, at which time the patient, until then admitted to the ICU of the Hospital Can Misses, was handed over to the Guardia Civil.
The aggression occurred during a fight on the balcony of a house located in the central street of Mar, in the town center of Santa Eulària. According to the information provided by the City Council, three people were involved in the altercation, and the physical confrontation ended with the Italian stabbed several times, allegedly with a knife.
The first body to arrive at the scene was the Local Police of Santa Eulària, who received a call about a loud argument after 20.20 hours on Friday. Two patrol cars with five officers, a police van and an off-duty police officer also assisted in the intervention.
Upon entering the house, the officers found the victim in serious condition and proceeded to the immediate arrest of the alleged assailant, a 74-year-old man of Spanish nationality.
The Guardia Civil, who took over the investigation after traveling to the hospital, also ordered the arrest of the injured man once he was admitted, for his involvement in the incident. Both were arrested on charges of one count of attempted murder.
The SAMU 061 team was in charge of the first medical assistance at home, before transferring the victim to the hospital.
From that moment on, the injured man was guarded by municipal agents, until the Civil Guard took over during the early hours of the morning.
With her release from the hospital and her transfer to police custody, the investigation is ongoing and has now been placed under judicial supervision to determine the exact circumstances of what happened in this violent episode.

]]>La entrada The dangerous maneuver of a driver on an Ibiza highway se publicó primero en La Voz De Ibiza.
]]>The incident was recorded on video by the occupants of a car driving just behind and who have sent the images to La Voz de Ibiza.
In the video, which is only a few seconds long, it can be seen how the offending vehicle invades the oncoming lane to overtake a white car, despite the existence of a reinforced continuous line, a sign that expressly prohibits this type of maneuver except in exceptional cases.
A few meters before, he had overtaken with another reckless maneuver the occupants of the car who captured this situation.«On the previous straight, he overtook us,» they have detailed to this media.
In this sense, he explained: «We left Cas Pagés 10 (Cas Pagés 10) and we had quite a bit of time with her because she was coming later and started to eat the ass of the car on the straight that goes to the traffic circle. She overtook us and when she overtook us she started to scold us and further on she overtook us in continuous«.
The reinforced continuous line is composed of a continuous longitudinal line accompanied by additional markings insisting on the prohibition of lane changes.
According to the General Traffic Regulations, this type of overtaking is only allowed when overtaking a fixed obstacle, never to overtake a moving vehicle.
Therefore, what is shown in the images could constitute a serious traffic infraction, punishable by loss of license points and a financial fine.
The video also documents how the car returns to its lane after overtaking, leaving the white car behind. During the entire maneuver, the vehicle drives for several meters in the opposite direction, significantly increasing the risk of a head-on collision in the event of a collision with another car.
The authors of the recording have provided the images to La Voz de Ibiza with the aim of publicly denouncing the recklessness observed on a road that, especially at this time of year, registers a high volume of traffic due to its proximity to the Las Dalias street market.
This type of behavior once again highlights the importance of respecting the horizontal signage, especially the continuous lines that the General Directorate of Traffic (DGT) designates for stretches where overtaking is considered especially dangerous.
On secondary roads such as the one that crosses this area of the municipality of Santa Eulària, the combination of curves, entrances to houses and frequent traffic means that any reckless maneuver can have fatal consequences.

]]>The festive day will continue from 19.00 hours with the start of the Mercat de Nadal, which this year will open with a magical touch: an artificial snow cannon will «snow» on the Passeig de s’Alamera, dyeing white one of the most emblematic places of the municipality.
In addition to extending in days and hours, the market will include activities for all audiences and some new proposals, such as lively afternoons or workshops especially designed for adults. The aim is to make it a meeting point for both residents and visitors who want to enjoy a festive and friendly atmosphere.
Another of the attractions of this Christmas campaign will be the Great Gifts initiative, which will also be activated on December 5. The proposal seeks to promote local commerce through prizes valued at 10,000 euros, an incentive that aims to boost Christmas shopping.
A total of 32 establishments have joined the campaign, which will coexist with the XXV Concurso de Escaparatismo, a classic event to recognize the creativity and effort of the stores in the municipality during these dates.
Santa Eulària’s Christmas program brings together more than 130 activities that combine tradition and new proposals. In addition to the most traditional events, such as the Christmas carols, the Escola de Nadal or the classic Christmas meeting of the parish choirs of the Archpriesthood, there are also initiatives designed to revitalize the streets and increase citizen participation.
Among the novelties is the I Concurs de Decoració Nadalenca de Balcons, which already has almost twenty entries and seeks to transform the municipality into a real spectacle of light and color.
With young people in mind, this year’s New Year’s Eve Party will have a special early edition. In addition to the celebration on December 31, a pre-party is scheduled for December 30, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., with completely free access.
Both the New Year’s Eve party and its youth version will be held at the Teatro España, which will become the epicenter of the fun to bid farewell to 2024 and welcome 2025.
All the detailed program can be consulted in the festival programas well as on the website of the Ajuntament de Santa Eulària and its social networks. Christmas is about to illuminate the municipality … and promises to do so with more strength and excitement than ever.

The program will last eight days, from 8:30 am to 2:15 pm, and includes Christmas workshops, crafts, children’s cooking, excursions, cooperative games and fun gymkhanas, always adjusted to each age range. In addition, the service will again have support monitors for children with functional diversity, a resource that will require prior coordination with the Department of Children and Youth.
This year, the activities will take place in the building of Culture and Youth of Santa Eulària, in the Punts Joves and in the Cultural Center of Puig d’en Valls. The venues of Jesús and Santa Gertrudis will not host this edition due to the low demand registered.
The general registration fee is 95 euros per child, although the discounts provided by the City Council are maintained. The activity will be free for children with a recognized disability over 51%, while large families, single-parent families and children with a disability of 33% will enjoy a

]]>Santa Eulària thus joins the 311 Spanish local entities that currently have this distinction. According to UNICEF, this group represents the environment in which 48.3% of children in Spain live, which makes the program a state benchmark in child and adolescent policies.
The renewal of the title accredits that the municipality has complied with the established requirements: to have an updated diagnosis on the situation of children, to have a children’s plan financed with a specific budget and to maintain an active and representative child and adolescent participation group.
The recognition implies that Santa Eulària continues to advance in strategic lines such as:
Ensure measurable results in the implementation of children’s rights.
Promote the real participation of children and adolescents in local decisions.
Prevent any form of discrimination in public policies aimed at young people.
Promote safe and accessible spaces that favor their full development.
The councilor for Culture, Education and Youth, Marisol Ferrer, stressed that this fourth renewal reflects the municipality’s constant effort: «This achievement not only highlights our commitment to children’s rights, but also highlights Santa Eulària’s constant dedication to creating an environment in which young people feel valued and listened to,» she said.
The Child Friendly Cities program, led by UNICEF Spain since 2002 in partnership with the Ministry of Youth and Children, FEMP and IUNDIA, places child welfare at the center of local policies, promoting communities that guarantee the rights and opportunities of the youngest.

]]>In his message, Monkman details that the thieves took three MacBook Pro laptops, whose price in Spain starts at about 1,800 euros per unit in the latest generation of 14-inch models. He also denounces the loss of Neumann NDH 20 studio headphones, which in the European market are around 500 euros, and Sennheiser HD25, a classic among DJs with prices in specialized stores around 130-140 euros.
According to the list released by the musician himself, the haul also includes a Native Instruments Traktor X1 controller, valued at just over 200 euros, two Komplete Audio 6 audio interfaces (at around 200 euros on average per unit) and a Perkons HD-1 drum machine, manufactured by Erica Synths, whose new price in Europe is around 1,700 euros before taxes.
The listing shared by Monkman also includes an Edirol audio recorder, commonly used to record sessions and live performances, and a Sage model 500 espresso machine, corresponding to the Bambino Plus range, which is marketed in the European Union for around 600 euros.
With these reference prices, the amount of the theft would be around 9,000-10,000 euros, not counting possible higher configurations of the laptops or the added value of music projects, sessions or work material stored on the equipment. In his message, the DJ emphasizes that he is offering a reward for any information that helps to recover the stolen items.
«Please be vigilant,» Monkman wrote in English, before sharing the inventory of what was stolen and asking neighbors to let him know if they see any of these devices on trading platforms or are offered around the area.
London-based Monkman is considered one of the leading producers of melodic electronica and has signed work for labels such as Crosstown Rebels and Ellum. His live sets combine synthesizers, drum machines and real-time processing, so the type of equipment stolen matches the material he usually uses in his performances and in the studio.
The artist has maintained for years a close relationship with the Ibiza scene: already in 2013 he starred in a set at Ushuaïa and this fall season he is on the lineup of Supernova, in Las Dalias and Akasha club in Santa Eulalia, along with names like Dave Seaman or Karlos Sense. The island has become one of the recurring places in his live agenda.
In his message to the residents’ group, the producer asks Ibiza locals to be on the lookout for equipment appearing on Marketplace ads or other buying and selling platforms or being offered directly on the island. «If you see any of this equipment on offer or hear anything, please send me a message,» says the DJ, who insists he is willing to reward anyone who provides useful data. This is his Facebook profile.
This type of theft of technological equipment and vehicles has already generated concern in different parts of the island. In recent months, the Guardia Civil has reported operations against groups dedicated to theft in homes and parking lots in municipalities such as Santa Eulària or Sant Josep, with arrests for robberies with force and vehicle theft.

The file (no. 2022/002483) was initially approved by the Local Government Board on February 2, 2023, which accepted the corresponding technical and legal reports.
The project – drafted by the architect Luis Quesada Salcedo – affects the property located at 60 Monte Kilimanjaro Street, Cala Llonga, and consists of a comprehensive renovation and extension to adapt it to the new tourist category.
At the meeting of January 26, 2024, the Governing Board returned to the matter, following a legal report that partially modified the previous agreement.
The project has required several reports, visas and complementary technical documentation, collected between December 2021 and January 2023, for its final validation.
The licensing agreement details numerous technical and urban planning conditions that must be met before and during the works, as well as to obtain the final construction certificate.
These include:
Luis Quesada‘s LQArquitectura studio has detailed that «the idea of the project is based on the magic of the place. The location of the building takes us to the points of any landscape route called «viewpoints», where one goes to look to enjoy».

In addition, through social networks, they have remarked that «our goal is to respect, with our intervention, this natural condition of the place, helping to soften and give harmony to the current layout of these outdoor spaces, incorporating new elements and uses in the different levels of relationship between the exterior and the building to enhance this suggestive experience of inhabiting this lookout building».
