«I accept the challenge of achieving a majority with the focus on the recovery and reconstruction of the Valencian Community,» said Pérez Llorca in his social networks. «A period of dialogue is now open that we will face with seriousness, rigor and always prioritizing the needs of the Valencians.»
A quick changeover to avoid political uncertainty
The PP is confident that the investiture will materialize in the coming days, with the aim of restoring institutional normality «as soon as possible». From Genova they assure that the election of Pérez Llorca has the unanimous support of the provincial directorates and they underline his continuist profile with Mazón’s project.
The national spokesman of the party, Miguel Tellado, communicated the decision to the provincial presidents and said that the appointment seeks «a solution as quickly as possible«.
«We think that the approach that the candidate is Juanfran can not surprise anyone in Vox. He belongs to a leadership that has already faced other conversations with Vox and is no stranger to them,» explained PP sources, according to EL MUNDO.

Born in Finestrat, Pérez Llorca is one of Mazón’s most trusted men and has played a key role within the Partido Popular de la Comunidad Valenciana (PPCV). As general secretary and parliamentary spokesman, he has acted as liaison between the various provincial delegations and the management team.
His appointment has not surprised the regional leaders, since his name has been sounding for months as a possible transitional solution. However, Pérez Llorca himself acknowledged last Monday that no one from Genoa had called him yet to formally offer him the position.
Despite having defended on other occasions that «the future of the Valencian PP must be decided by the Valencians», Pérez Llorca accepted that the final designation corresponded to the national leadership. He did so after maneuvering with the provincial barons to maintain internal unity and rule out a possible leadership crisis.
During the previous conversations, he even postulated the president of the Provincial Council of Valencia, Vicent Mompó, as an alternative in case of an early election. However, Genova always had as a favorite María José Catalá, mayor of Valencia, as an eventual candidate in a regional election.
Feijóo seeks stability and continuity in the Valencian project
The appointment of Pérez Llorca responds to Feijóo ‘s strategy of preserving political stability and avoiding institutional paralysis in a key community for the PP. From the national leadership insist that the replacement takes place with full coordination and internal support, which will allow maintaining the road map drawn by Mazón.

The husband opened the door and the victim, from the back of the dining room, gestured for help and invited them to enter the house to help her. The police officers entered and, after taking the alleged aggressor to one of the bedrooms, they interviewed the victim, who was with two small girls. Once they were alone with her, she confirmed to the officers the version given by the complainant. In addition, the victim told them about the physical and sexual aggressions, mistreatment and kidnapping she had suffered during the whole time she had been in a relationship with the suspect. When the GAMA patrol found that it was not safe for the woman and the girls to stay in the apartment, they activated the 24-hour Women’s Center resource.
The man, 38 years old, has been arrested and handed over to the Judicial Authority.

To date, 195 autopsies have been performed at the Institute of Legal Medicine (IML) in Valencia, and of these, 133 bodies have already been identified. In this process, fingerprint analysis has been the key tool for 119 of the identifications, while another 14 have been possible thanks to the matching of DNA samples. However, 62 deceased are still awaiting identification, which maintains uncertainty for many families. To assist in the identification process, relatives of missing persons can provide everything from photographs and physical descriptions to personal items to help create a genetic profile. In this regard, the contribution of biological samples from immediate family members is essential to facilitate DNA analysis. On the other hand, the Insurance Compensation Consortium will start paying this Wednesday the first compensations to those families and companies that have lost their vehicles. They are estimated to be 20% higher than the appraised value of the car. According to Sánchez, the Consortium’s expenses will reach the «unprecedented» figure of 3,500 million euros, after having received more than 70,000 applications so far. «From tomorrow, but fundamentally from Friday, many of the resources will be transferred by the compensation consortium», he reiterated. Among the fiscal measures, the second payment of the IRPF tax return is delayed for Valencian taxpayers whose return was paid, as well as moratoriums and exemptions in the IBI, Economic Activities Tax or processing fee for vehicle deregistration. The first package of measures approved today, under the name of ‘Immediate Response, Reconstruction and Relaunching Plan for the Valencian Community’, contemplates direct aid for 78 municipalities (75 in the Valencian Community, 2 in Castilla-La Mancha and 1 in Andalusia), and subsidies of up to 72,000 euros for cases of disability «without income limit», which means quadrupling the public aid foreseen in the law. Future aid for SMEs and the self-employed
For SMEs and the self-employed in the most severely affected areas, direct aid of 838 million euros will be provided. This aid will amount to 5,000 euros for the self-employed and will range from 10,000 to 150,000 euros for companies, depending on their turnover. To receive them, it will be sufficient to indicate the bank account number and they will start to be collected in less than a month. The benefit is estimated to reach some 65,000 self-employed workers and some 30,000 companies.
