In Santa Eulària, the thermometer will range between 16 and 21°C today, and slight cloudiness is expected. The chances of rain will be low, and the skies will tend to clear in the next few days, keeping the weather calm for the weekend.
In this northern municipality, temperatures will vary between 15 and 19°C, with cloudy intervals during the day. The forecast for the rest of the week calls for clear skies, with moderate easterly winds that will bring a cool feeling.
Today, temperatures in Sant Antoni are expected to range between 17 and 22°C. The weather will be mostly sunny as of Thursday, with no rain in sight and light winds that will keep the atmosphere pleasant in the area.

]]>La entrada Imminent abrupt weather change in Ibiza and risk of DANA next week se publicó primero en La Voz De Ibiza.
]]>From Monday, the weather will start to cool down, especially from Tuesday, when the arrival of a jet of cold air will radically change the outlook. This change responds to the displacement of the Azores anticyclone to the north, allowing the entry of cold air that will affect both the Iberian Peninsula and the Balearic Islands. Although temperatures will not reach winter levels, they will be in line with the usual values for November, and even somewhat lower, which means that the traditional ‘summer of St. Martin’ will not be experienced this year. The coldest days are expected to be Tuesday and Wednesday, with temperatures in Ibiza ranging between 12 and 17 degrees on Tuesday and between 11 and 17 degrees on Wednesday.
Some weather models indicate the possible formation of a DANA (Isolated High Level Depression) over the Iberian Peninsula. This phenomenon, also known as cold drop, could result in significant rainfall, although not necessarily torrential, in the coming days. The DANA would occur if cold air breaks away from the general atmospheric flow, increasing the probability of significant rainfall in the region.

On both islands, the heaviest rainfall day was the 26th, with maximums of 30 l/m² in Sant Joan de Labritja in Ibiza and 10 l/m² in Formentera. Another notable phenomenon was the presence of tropical nights, when temperatures did not drop below 20ºC. At Ibiza airport, eight tropical nights were recorded, when the usual for October is around three. In Formentera, the island’s station also reached 10 tropical nights, a record that triples the average for the month.
As for winds, the month also presented an increase in days of strong wind, especially in Ibiza, where eight days of wind were recorded with gusts of up to 67 km / h from the southwest on the 17th, and in Formentera, which recorded five days of wind with a maximum of 59 km / h on the same day. Despite the decrease in rainfall, the Aemet has noted the presence of mist and fog in Ibiza for four days and in Formentera for two days. The weather agency concludes that, in general, October has been an anomalous month, with unusual conditions in terms of temperatures and drought on both islands, which have experienced a warm and dry October, marked by tropical nights and windy days.

The Aemet warns that, although Ibiza and Formentera will not be the main focus of the phenomenon, adverse episodes that affect mobility and outdoor activities on these islands are not ruled out.
The bad weather could last throughout the week, with episodes of rain and wind that would continue until Thursday 31 or even until Saturday, November 2, according to current models. The Aemet has warned that, given the complexity of the phenomenon, the forecasts could change in the coming days, so it recommends staying informed and taking extreme precautions.
