A serious accident on the airport highway (EI-20), at kilometer 1.3, interrupted traffic this Thursday night and generated scenes of great impact among drivers traveling on the road.
The accident occurred shortly after 8:30 p.m., when a Fiat Panda collided with a Symphony motorcycle with two occupants. After the impact, both fell to the ground, leaving the motorcycle in the middle of the road. Minutes later, an Audi A1 traveling on the same stretch of road hit the motorcycle lying on the road, aggravating the situation. For several meters, the wreckage of the damaged vehicles could be seen: the motorcycle was stuck to the median and the pieces of both cars were scattered along the road, making traffic difficult. After receiving the alert from the drivers, a team of Atestados of the Guardia Civil de Tráfico quickly went to the scene, accompanied by the health services to attend to the injured. The magnitude of the accident and the complexity of the scenario highlighted the importance of extreme caution when driving at night and on high speed roads.
