The Ertzaintza has arrested this Friday a man from Barakaldo, Bizkaia, for allegedly murdering his mother, 84, during an argument in the family home. Basque police are investigating the case as a possible case of domestic violence, according to the Security Department.
The police warning and the police action
The incident occurred around 16:30 hours, when the police received a call about a loud argument and shouting in a house in Barakaldo. Upon arrival at the scene, the officers confirmed the death of the woman, certified by the medical team.
Ongoing research
The Ertzaintza has initiated an investigation to clarify the facts. According to initial indications, the son of the deceased was responsible for the attack. For this reason, the agents proceeded to arrest him. The case, classified as possible domestic violence, is still under investigation.
