Access to housing remains one of the main concerns in the Balearic Islands, especially in Ibiza and Formentera, where high prices make renting difficult for many families. Faced with this situation, the Regional Ministry of Housing, Territory and Mobility has announced that it has distributed 708,000 euros in rental aid, benefiting 298 people in the Pitiusas.
Distribution of aid in the Pitiusas Islands
According to the data provided, Ibiza has received 629,000 euros, distributed among 260 beneficiaries, while in Formentera nearly 79,000 euros have been allocated to 38 people.
These aids are part of the sixth payment corresponding to 2023, which amounts to 1.12 million euros distributed among 478 people throughout the archipelago. In total, during the year, the aid has reached more than 6.5 million euros, benefiting 2,849 people in the Balearic Islands.
Next call for 2024
The Govern has already opened the deadline for applications for rental subsidies for 2024. The deadline for submitting the documentation is December 15. Those interested can obtain all the necessary information at the official website ajudeslloguer.caib.es.
