The Ibiza Town Hall joins again the campaign No and that’s it! Ibiza free of sexist aggressions’. The program is an initiative that seeks to promote safety and respect in the celebration of New Year’s Eve, regardless of gender or sexual identity. This program aims to make the party a space where everyone can enjoy with freedom and safety.
As part of this campaign, a training and assistance point will be set up on December 31, during the celebration at the Vara de Rey promenade. This space will offer information and awareness about the problem of male violence, as well as support and shelter for anyone who may need it in case of aggression.
The New Year’s Eve celebration in Vara de Rey will begin at 22:30 hours and will run until 02:30 hours, with live performances by Petit & Vázquez, Lugotti and La Movida to liven up one of the most emblematic nights of the year. The Ibiza Town Hall assures that this initiative is key to ensure that everyone can enjoy a special night safely and without worries. This campaign has been made possible thanks to the collaboration between various institutions: the funds provided by the Ministry of Families and Social Affairs of the Government, through the Balearic Institute for Women, and the Ministry of Equality through the State Pact against Gender Violence.
