The City Council of Santa Eulària des Riu continues to consolidate its position as a preferred destination for family tourism with the launch of the Emblematic Beach Bar Guide. Presented at FITURthis initiative highlights seven unique spaces on the municipality’s beaches, offering experiences that combine gastronomy, culture and nature, in line with the values that define this region of Ibiza.
The guide includes beach bars such as Pou des Lleó, Cala Mestella, Cala Llenya, Cala Nova, es Caló de s’Alga, Cala Olivera and sa Punta des Andreus. Each of them stands out for its gastronomic proposal based on local products, its commitment to the environment and its ability to offer a friendly atmosphere for families. In addition to tasting traditional dishes, visitors can enjoy outdoor activities and live the Ibizan lifestyle in a natural and relaxed environment.
Commitment to sustainability and heritage
The guide also reflects Santa Eulària des Riu’s commitment to sustainable tourism. The establishments included promote responsible practices, such as the use of local products, waste reduction and protection of the natural environment. This approach encourages conscious tourism, respectful of the natural and cultural wealth of the municipality. In addition, the guide not only focuses on the gastronomic offer, but invites visitors to explore the nearby heritage and cultural points of interest. For example, the des Molar watchtower at Pou des Lleó, the picturesque village of Sant Carles de Peralta near Cala Llenya, or the famous hippy market of Las Dalias. Other highlights include the old mines of Cala Olivera and the spectacular scenery of Cala Nova, perfect for hiking and photography.

Available in physical and digital format, the guide has been designed to facilitate access to all audiences. As part of its launch, the Santa Eulària Town Council has organized a series of activities linked to the participating beach bars. These include tasting days of local products, workshops for children and guided tours that connect the establishments with their natural and cultural environment.
