The Government of the Balearic Islands has taken a significant turn in the management of its infrastructure projects by launching a tender for the implementation of the BIM (Building Information Modeling) methodology. This contract, worth €350,000 (VAT included) and lasting 24 months, is open until January 31 at 11:59pm, seeking to radically transform how public works are managed in the region.

BIM is much more than a tool; it is a collaborative work philosophy that integrates all the information of a construction project into a 3D digital model. This system allows not only to visualize, but also to manage aspects from building geometry to spatial relationships, geographic information, inventories and budgets, all throughout the construction life cycle.
