The shipping company Balearia has announced this Monday the cancellation of several connections between Ibiza and Formentera due to adverse weather conditions caused by the storm Herminia. The affected routes are those scheduled for this Tuesday, January 28th on the vessel Nixe, with scheduled departures at 17:01 from Ibiza and at 18:01 from Formentera.
Strong winds and alert at sea
The AEMET has forecast high winds in the Pitiusas, with gusts that could exceed 80 km / h, in addition to a significant swell that complicates navigation. The alert, active since Sunday, has put authorities and transport companies in maximum caution to ensure the safety of passengers and crew.
