The Guardia Civil has arrested an employee of a gas station in Sant RafelIbiza, accused of stealing more than 13,000 euros from the establishment where he worked. According to official sources, the arrest took place on the night of January 28, after the agents received a complaint about the theft of 13,305 euros from the safe and the cash register.
The agents of the Guardia Civil of Sant Antoni went to the premises and, after reviewing the recordings of the security cameras, confirmed that the theft had been committed by the shift manager. Subsequently, they began efforts to locate the alleged perpetrator. The suspect, 38 years old and of South American origin, was located and arrested at his home. During interrogation, he stated that he no longer had the money in his possession, as he had deposited it in his bank account and subsequently transferred it to various accounts.
