An outrageous case of animal abuse occurred in Perales de Tajuña, Madrid, where a puppy was thrown in the garbage. Thanks to the tip-off of a neighbor who heard its barking, agents of the Guardia Civil were able to rescue the animal and bring it to safety.
The images of the rescue were shared on social networks, where the agents can be seen recovering the small dog, visibly frightened, and providing it with first aid. The video has generated a wave of indignation among users, who demand justice for the person responsible for this cruel abandonment. The Guardia Civil has assured that they are investigating what happened to find the person responsible for the act and that he/she will assume the corresponding legal consequences. In the meantime, the puppy has been placed under shelter to receive the necessary attention and care.
