A 58-year-old German motorcyclist died after leaving the road and colliding with a tree, as confirmed Thursday by the Civil Guard. The accident occurred at 0.30 hours on Wednesday in a curve of the Benirràs road, at kilometer 4.400, in the municipality of Sant Joan. Agents of the Traffic Grouping of the Civil Guard of Ibiza, who point to a possible cause of a distraction of the victim, went to the scene. The emergency services could do nothing to save the life of the man, who died at the scene of the accident. The motorcycle he was driving, a Honda CB500, was badly damaged due to the violence of the impact.
